Heads up was a pretty quick affair tonight. Varan Sidhu had the chip lead going in, but Stacey Diederich wasn’t far behind. They traded small pots for a few hands before both players woke up with gapped hands. Sidhu was suited with seven-nine in spades, while Diederich was best preflop with king-jack off.
Sidhu flopped a nine and turned trips to reverse the hand, however, and send Diederich out in second place for $4,365 while Sidhu bagged another PPT trophy and $6,652.
