“Vladan” Puts Down the Pen and Picks up the Chips

A few Greek poker legends are expected to be seen in the field today. One has already been identified. Georgios Theofanopoulos may be more known as “Vladan”. He’s been the media guru in Greek poker for years, even though he’s been busy with non-poker-related projects the last few years.

During the late 2000s, Theofanopoulos was a TV commentator for poker that was broadcast on Greek television. He was also a writer for the old Greek poker forum “PokerCity”, which doesn’t exist anymore. He’s proven that he’s not only a writer but also a decent player; he occasionally streams poker on YouTube and Twitch, and he’s still a very familiar face in the Greek poker community.
