The last hand before the third break of the day, Asif Warris (the last PartyPoker Tour Ambassador standing in the tournament) opened to 50,000 UTG. Jack Hoffman called from the Button before Daniel Davies moved all in for 134,000 from the Small Blind. Warris made the call, and Hoffman quickly mucked.

Warris was ahead, but Davies could still get lucky and hit a ten. That wasn’t the case on the 6Q2, and all hope he had disappeared on the K turn. For good measure, Warris (or “the Poker Tourist” as he sometimes is referred to as) improved to quads on the K river.
