Christian Watt won the £150 Mini Main Event for £10,260 yesterday, and he’s one of the 37 players currently remaining in the £500 Main Event. He has roughly 620,000 in chips, and even though it’s still a long way to go, what a sunshine story it would be, were Watt to bink the Main Event as well.
A fun fact is that Ion Oprea, who won the Mini Main event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester, came third in the Main Event two days later. In other words, Watt needs to finish top two if he wants to break the record.
