Good Friday morning, all poker enthusiasts. It’s only February, but one of the undisputed highlights of the 2026 poker year is already running in Tallinn. Welcome, all, to the 2026 Kings of Tallinn.
Northern Europe’s biggest live poker festival has quite a noble history. The inaugural edition was held in 2015, and since then, it’s only grown bigger and better. It’s an impeccable event, and all poker players are in for a whopping 11 days of unparalleled entertainment and action.
The poker.pro editorial office is beyond pleased to be a part of the media coverage team. Live reporter Christoffer Karlén will be on-site throughout the festival and responsible for most of the content shared on the live blog. Crucial information, entertaining moments, big hands, tournament results, chip counts, player interviews…Karlén will do his very best to cover every nook and cranny at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. The CEO of poker.pro, Jason Glatzer, will be commentating on the various live-streams, and poker media icon Glenn Brown will host the festival together with Teele Viira. It’s a well-oiled team that will strive to deliver a top-notch experience to all followers.

The trio arrived last night, and even though the live coverage will commence today around noon, the team had to pay the casino a visit and take in the atmosphere during the festival’s first day. It did not disappoint; the freebuy satellite to the €200 Mini Main Event attracted a whopping 206 entries. The guarantee of 10 tickets was shattered; 25 lucky contestants got their hands on a ticket, and a €92 conzellation prize was awarded to the twenty-sixth-place finisher.
The second and final event of the first day was Day 1a of the aforementioned Mini Main Event. One hundred ninety-eight entries were impressive numbers to say the least, and it’s an educated guess that it will be one of the most entertaining tournaments of the festival. All and all, it was a busy room from the get-go, and keep in mind it was all played inside the casino; imagine the atmosphere tomorrow and onwards, when the second floor of the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel will roll out the red carpet for all players. This is, without a doubt, going to be a festival for the ages.
Today’s schedule features a smorgasbord of different events. There are four satellites to various events, through which players can try to secure tickers for a cheaper buck. The final two starting-day flights of the Mini Main Event will also kick off; it’s worth mentioning that late registration will be open during the first few levels of Day 2 (which is scheduled to commence Saturday, February 7, at 13:00). What’s more, Day 1a of the €350 Kings of Tallinn Cup should also be a popular event amongst the competitors. The schedule also features two Mixed Games events and a €555 NLH; it’s a diversified tournament schedule, and all players should be able to find a tournament of their liking.
