History is about to be written as the PartyPoker Tour makes its first-ever stop on Spanish soil. The legendary poker brand did pay Casino Barcelona a visit in 2022 during the 2022 partypoker MILLIONS Europe; however, that was a completely different tour. The PartyPoker Tour held its inaugural event in April last year (London, United Kingdom), and after five more stops in the UK, the tour has now officially expanded to Spain.
If you’re reading this, you’ve successfully navigated to the poker.pro live blog. This poker journalist’s name is Christoffer Karlén. This Swede was blessed with the opportunity to cover the tour in 2025, and now, I’ve made it to Seville, eager to watch the action unfold at Casino Admiral.

Today’s live coverage will kick off at 17:00, when Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event kicks off. If the 2025 tour in the UK taught us anything, it’s that the aforementioned Mini Main Event is one of the most popular tournaments. With a total of four starting-day flights, there’ll be many contestants in the field, competing for a large chunk of the prize pool (which is €50,000 guaranteed). Late registration will be open during the first nine 30-minute levels, and 15 % of the field will make it to Day 2.
At 22:00, there is a €30 Target Stack Satellite which has three Mini Main Event tickets guaranteed. Players will start with 15,000 in chips and compete in 10-minute levels until they accumulate 90,000 or more; then, they’ll be granted a €150 ticket.

While these are the sole two tournaments on the schedule today, it wouldn’t be fair to call this a slow start. Many players have already made their way to Seville, including PartyPoker Ambassadors Rebecca Hardisty and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. What’s more, PartyPoker Team Pros Jaime Staples and Matt Staples are also on-site; it wouldn’t be surprising to see all four of the above-mentioned names tangle in today’s Mini Main Event flight. The same goes for Daniel Garcia, the Spanish ambassador for the PartyPoker Tour.
The cards will be in the air in roughly four hours at Admiral Casino.
