Cheers! The Beer Poker Tour London Returns to Aspers Casino

Beer Poker Tour 2025 Aspers Casino

If there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that live poker is more popular than ever before. Every week all year long, there are multiple events running all across the globe, and with so many spectacular poker festivals out there, it can be challenging to stand out from the crowd. Organizers have to get creative to make their event unique, and when they succeed in doing this, they deserve the recognition and attention.

The Beer Poker Tour is a great example of a live poker event with its own touch. During their first festival earlier this year, they proved they have crafted the perfect formula: unique, thrilling poker tournaments mixed with a whole lot of fun away from the tables.

From June 10-15, the Beer Poker Tour is once again hosting an event at Aspers Casino, and considering the overwhelming success they had earlier this year, the expectations are high. This time, even more so with the addition of our own £150 poker.pro branded PLO event on the schedule.

A Toast for the £185 Double Mystery Main Event

We’re not kidding when we’re claiming that the Beer Poker Tour is in a league of its own when it comes to creativity. The two masterminds behind the tour, Merivan Hassan and Guillaume Diaz, have been involved in the poker industry for years, and with all their experience – and presumably, many brainstorming sessions – they’ve managed to create a concept of poker that’s never been seen before.

Once again, it’s June 10-15 that Aspers Casino in London will host the second Beer Poker Tour event of 2025, and the golden nugget of the festival is the £185 Double Mystery Main Event. This truly is a unique tournament; the case usually with Mystery Bounty tournaments is that the bounties will be introduced during Day 2. This is too dull for Hassan and Diaz, and so they have created a tournament with two mystery phases. During all eight Day 1 flights, players earn a spin on the Beer Poker Tour “Wheel of Fortune” with each elimination. During Day 2, the Mystery Envelopes will be introduced, similar to an “ordinary” Mystery Bounty tournament. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, the tournament also holds a £100,000 guarantee.

What do you think about the winner's trophy from the first Beer Poker Tour festival?

If we’re picking things to highlight from the schedule, we can’t help but mention the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5/6 tournament. We’re thrilled to be the official media partner of the Beer Poker Tour, and to host our own tournament during the event makes things even better. This is the first-ever multi-day tournament hosted by poker.pro, and what better game to choose than some action-packed PLO4/5/6?

Also featured in the Beer Poker Tour schedule is the £100 Poker Experience Tour PKO NLH. The Poker Experience Tour is a newcomer on the live poker circuit designed by certain poker players, and they have big plans in mind. The winner of the tournament will receive a package that can be used for any Poker Experience Tour event during 2025.

The Beer Poker Tour aims to be a festival for the people, and that’s why you won’t find a buy-in higher than the £185 of the Main Event. Most recreational poker players should be able to afford to participate in this joyful party of a poker event, and apart from the two mentioned tournaments above, there are also several tournaments with a buy-in lower than £100.

The opportunities to qualify for the Main Event for a cheaper buck are also vast, with freerolls and £25 satellites running continuously until the very last flight. Make sure to browse the full schedule below.

The Uniqueness of Beer Poker Tour

While the £185 Double Mystery Main Event is a one-of-a-kind event, that isn’t the only thing that makes the Beer Poker Tour a unique event. Hassan, Diaz, and everyone else who’s involved backstage emphasize the fun and familiarity around the tables as much as the game of cards itself. They say it best themselves on their website:

“At Beer Poker Tour, we want our players to enjoy every minute of our events, and as everyone is different, we want to give our players the option to do what they want!”

That being said, when not playing, players can spend all their time in the players’ lounge, enjoying fun activities such as beer pong and the Beer Poker Tour exclusive “Poker Flip” game. There’ll also be daily players’ parties with free beers and food during the tournament dinner breaks, where players can relax and get to know their fellow competitors.

Last but not least, they’ve also added some fun gimmicks to the tournaments. For example, if you win a hand with quads or better, you win a free round of beers for the whole table. Players can also play special games with the dealers during the break, with more gifts for the challenger and the whole table up for grabs.

Make no mistake about it: the Beer Poker Tour stands out, and it’s very evident that Hassan and Diaz are driven solely by the vision of creating a feel-good event. As the official media partner, poker.pro will be on-site, delivering live updates and daily recaps from the event.

The atmosphere at Aspers Casino will be electrifying, and we’re beyond excited for the event to commence.
