Grand Casino Poker Series Master: Liechtenstein Launches a CHF 300K Festival

GCPS All Fall Series

Liechtenstein’s poker scene is heating back up this fall as the Grand Casino Poker Series (GCPS) returns in a big way. After a quiet summer, the Grand Casino Liechtenstein (GCLi) has unveiled its GCPS Master schedule, the first of three festival stops that together will offer more than CHF 2 million in guarantees across September, October, and November.

Kicking things off from September 8–15, the GCPS Master offers a guaranteed prize pool of CHF 300,000 for a CHF 330 buy-in. The full schedule is now live, with a Main Event that features eight starting flights and a loaded lineup of side events.

Main Event Overview

The Main Event gets underway on September 9 with Flight 1A at a special discounted buy-in of CHF 280. That’s followed by seven more Day 1 flights, each giving players 50,000 chips and a deep structure. Flight 1C also comes with a Top 5 Bonus — CHF 2,000 for each of the five biggest stacks at the end of the night.

Players can re-enter across flights, and each Day 1 ends once just 12% of the field remains — all of whom are already in the money. The Turbo flight (1H) on September 14 offers a faster 15-minute level structure for those looking for a quicker shot at Day 2. The Main Finale plays out on September 15, with the winner taking home the biggest share of the CHF 300,000 prize pool and earning a ticket to October’s GCPS Championship. In total, 10 tickets to the Championship will be awarded to the top ten finishers.

Side Events and Daily Action

GCPS September

There’s plenty happening outside of the Main Event as well. It all begins with a CHF 20K GTD One Day Opener on September 8, and satellites priced at CHF 60 run almost daily to help players qualify for the Main. Omaha players get their fix with a CHF 20K GTD PLO event on September 12, while freezeout fans can look forward to the Big Stack Freezeout the next day.

Other side events include Turbo Deepstack, 6-Max, and Bounty formats — plus a CHF 30K GTD High Roller on September 14 for those wanting to play bigger. A CHF 10K GTD Sunday Side Event runs alongside the Main Finale, and the CHF 5K GTD Closer wraps things up on the evening of the 15th.

Looking Ahead: Championship and Million Stops

The September GCPS Master stop is just the start. October’s GCPS Championship (Oct 13–20) raises the stakes with a CHF 500,000 guarantee on a CHF 550 buy-in. Then in November, the GCPS Million (Nov 5–17) takes it to the next level, offering a massive CHF 1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool for a CHF 1,100 entry.

Expect more details on satellites, high rollers, and bounty events for those two stops in the coming weeks. Combined with regular cash game offerings in NLH, PLO, Stud, and OFC, Liechtenstein is shaping up to be one of Europe’s best autumn poker destinations.

Whether you’re bagging chips in one of the many Day 1s or shooting for a seat in November’s seven-figure showdown, the GCPS Master is your entry point to a blockbuster poker season in the Alps.
