Kristaps Sipols Wins €350 Kings of Tallinn Cup (€26,940)

Kristaps Sipols

Sunday wrapped up the opening weekend of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn powered by OlyBet in grand fashion at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park. Five fresh champions emerged, topped by Latvia’s Kristaps Sipols, who bested Sweden’s Patrik Falk heads-up to claim the two-day €350 Kings of Tallinn Cup for €26,940. At this point in time, Latvia was two-for-two in multi-day events this festival after Latvia’s Jevgenijs Zotovs defeated a record-breaking field of 903 entries to win the two-day €200 NLH Mini Main Event for €25,570 on Saturday.

Latvia snagged Sunday’s marquee title late in the evening, but Finland owned the early action with the first three Sunday trophies heading north. Like Sipols, Henri Antikainen will also have a day to remember as he scooped more than half the prize pool in the two-day €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 Deepstack Mystery Bounty for €22,100 thanks to a massive €15,500 in bounties.

Finland’s Anne Bezdek followed suit soon after. A regular at Olympic Park Casino and OlyBet Baltic stops, she captured the schedule’s first women-only event, the €250 NLH Queens for €3,540, with the €555 NLH Queens on Wednesday, with team points for the OlyBet Team Challenge.

Mixed games delivered next as another Finn, Niko Heikkinen, topped the Netherlands’ Tobias Napel in the €350 TORSE for €6,570. Norway’s Espen Hagen closed out the day with the €350 Dealers Choice Hi Only trophy worth €6,310.

Day 2 of the three-day €555 NLH Championship looms large after 423 entries built a €196,695 prize pool and counting. Late registration stays open through the first four 40-minute levels until around 3:15 p.m., giving stragglers from the 163 Day 1 survivors an ample chance to dive in.

Kristaps Sipols Wins €350 Kings of Tallinn Cup

The €350 NLH Kings of Tallinn Cup was bustling with action early in the day, with another 131 entries getting in the mix during the first three blind levels of the second and final day to bring the final tally to 519 entries for a €149,628 prize pool with the top 63 players earning at least a €700 min-cash for double the buy-in.

The event, which was live-reported at poker.pro, was an international affair as evidenced by the final six players all from different countries after Lithuania’s Albert Ostrovskij ended his deep run in seventh place for €4,300.

A deal was agreed between Latvia’s Kristaps Sipols and Sweden’s Patrik Falk, leaving €5,000 and the trophy to play for after Romania’s Ionel Serbu exited on the podium in third place for €12,920. It was a back-and-forth affair with Sipols padding his chip lead before coughing it up to Falk. Sipols came charging back to regain the lead before jamming sevens from the button. Falk called with his ducks, and Sipols was declared the champion along with the €26,940 top prize after no miracle came on the board for Falk, who collected a healthy €20,720 for his efforts.

Henri Antikainen Annihilates €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 Deepstack Mystery Bounty

The two-day €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 Deepstack Mystery Bounty attracted 45 entries on Saturday’s opening day to create €41,850 in prizes, including €22,500 in mystery bounties drawn on the final day.

The six Day 2 players returned in the money for at least a €1,350 min-cash, which was as far as Israel’s Shaul Weinstein achieved before Danila Slabov followed in fifth place for €1,750.

Kristaps Renga eliminated one of those players as he was next to go in fourth place for €5,300, including a €3,000 mystery bounty pull. As is the nature of a mystery bounty, it doesn’t always matter where you finish as a playe,r behind you could earn more. This was the case for Finland’s Viljami Salakari, who finished on the podium in third place for €3,100.

Latvia’s Marcis Zeltmatis earned a bounty already when he was facing off against Finland’s Henri Antikainen before losing his stack in second place for €8,250, including €4,000 from a mystery bounty envelope.

After the tournament concluded, the mystery bounties were pulled, with Antikainen having the most chances. He not only won the €6,600 top prize but also €15,500 in bounties, bringing his total to €22,100.
