The penultimate day of the 2025 No Filter Poker Series Nordic & Baltic Championship Open set up a thrilling conclusion at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park.
The €1,100 No Filter Main Event was the talk of the town with 358 entries, creating a €340,100 prize pool by the time late registration closed on early Tuesday afternoon. The payouts were announced, and the top 47 players earned at least €2,000. This led to a €75,000 top prize on the big board to avoid too steep payouts. Don’t worry if you remember about the €100,000 guarantee to the winner as OlyBet Poker is graciously adding the value-of-the-year to the prize pool with an extra €25,000 heading to the winner.
The Main Event action played deep in the money, concluding with just 16 players remaining and €4,100 locked up. South Korea’s Jae Han Kim, who has lived off and on in the Baltics the past few years, will showcase a commanding chip lead of 4,360,000. This is far ahead of the other chip millionaires in Mikael Haapaniemi (1,640,000), Otto Kiiskinen (1,570,000), Joel Torres Jimenez (1,500,000), and Guillermo Gordo Cifuentes (1,490,000).
While the inaugural Kings of Tallinn Main Event winner in 2015, Ranno Sootla, began the day with the chip lead, but was only able to make it as far as 26th place for €2,650. Finland’s Juha Helppi nearly advanced to the final day before bowing out in 18th place for €4,100. Other notable players emerged empty-handed from the Main Event, including 2025 WSOP Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi, the inaugural No Filter Main Event champion Rohan Oberoi, and No Filter Poker Series founder Mounir Tajiou.

Unfortunately for the local fans about Sootla, but two other Kings of Tallinn Main Event champions are still in the mix, including 2023 Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown champion Kai Lehto (930,000) and 2020 Kings of Tallinn Main Event champion Johan Karlsson (540,000). Former OlyBet Group COO Tomas Graham is proving he knows a thing or two about poker and will also begin the final day with a healthy stack of 880,000.
The action will resume at 12 p.m. with a few minutes remaining, with blinds at 10,000/20,000 (20,000). The live stream will follow 30 minutes later with hole cards exposed until a winner is crowned with OlyBet host Andreas “Wiseguy” Hoglund and poker.pro CEO Jason Glatzer leading the commentating.
Three other players won trophies, with Finland’s Roope Tarmi completing a trifecta of sorts. Tarmi notoriously won two WSOP Circuit Tallinn rings in two separate years in the €3,000 NLH 6-Handed. He just won his third title in this format in Tallinn for €13,328, leading this author to question whether the event should be named after him as the ‘Roope Tarmi €3K 6-Max Masterclass’.
Meanwhile, Mantas Bagocius, a player popular over the years in his home country of Lithuania, will return home with a trophy after winning the €350 NLH Progressive Bounty for €3,885 plus bounties. Denmark’s Peter Jaksland also earned some hardware after shipping the €555 NLH for €7,595.

Roope Tarmi Wins Another €3K 6-Handed

It might not be the most significant event that Roope Tarmi has won, but it is special nonetheless. He has proven once again to be one of the strongest 6-max players in the world after defeating Spain’s Jon Ander Vallinas Santos (second—€8,400) to win the €3,000 NLH 6-handed for €13,328.
With the Main Event still in full flow, this event attracted eight entries for a €21,728 prize pool. Don’t let the field size trick you, as Tarmi’s two other €3,000 NLH 6-Handed victories in Tallinn came during big and talented fields during the WSOP Circuit Tallinn.
This author jokes with Tarmi often that when he has chips, he is a good player, and when his stack is small, he is a bad player. Jokes aside, the poker world likely agrees that Tarmi is a fearless player who can compete at any stakes.

The €350 NLH Progressive Bounty attracted 91 entries, generating €26,800 in prizes, including €9,100 in bounties.
Sweden’s Rohan Oberoi was looking to cement his status in No Filter lore further. Oberoi won the inaugural No Filter Main Event in June and on Monday won a trophy in the €350 NLH Deep Stack for €6,650. He was looking to add yet another trophy. However, Lithuania’s Mantas Bagocius had different plans when they faced heads-up, with both players already locking in the €3,885 top prize from the prize pool.
Bagocius got the best of his opponent to win the trophy, Lithuania’s first of this festival, and the big bounty at the end.
