Day 2 of the No Filter Poker Series didn’t disappoint. After Jan Risberg captured the €200 NLH title during the first day of the festival (Thursday, June 12), players returned on Friday and were greeted with the golden nugget of tournaments on the schedule. Day 1 of the €1,100 Main Event was set to commence at 17:00, and all poker enthusiasts had exciting action to look forward to.

Avela Leads the Field
Being the highlight of the No Filter Poker Series, the €1,100 Main Event attracted 106 entries, which created a €100,700 prize pool. When Friday’s Day 1 concluded, 36 players bagged their chips. Today, they will battle it out for the title and the biggest slice of the prize pool (at this moment, payouts are yet to be announced).
There are some familiar faces amongst the remaining warriors. Leading the field is Max Avela. The Finn has attended multiple OlyBet events in the past, and considering he’s been recording some decent results over the past years, it’s no surprise he was able to secure the biggest stack after the first day.

Also at the top is Johan Karlsson. Karlsson won the 2020 Kings of Tallinn Main Event, and evidently, he feels at home at the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. Estonian legend Ranno Sootla is also still in the mix, as well as one of the founders of No Filter Poker Series, Michel Karim.
The players will resume the tournament on Level 11: 1,000/1,500 with a 1,500 Ante. Late registration will be open for the earlier levels during Day 2; expect some new stacks in the field.
