It’s been about two months since the last casino in Sweden shut down. Since then, the opportunities for Swedes to play legal live poker have been reduced drastically. Luckily, though, there are some good spirits out there, thinking very creatively to find ways for Sweden to enjoy the game they love.
In conjunction with the casino closure, the No Filter Poker Tour was announced. Created by Mounir Tajiou and Michel Karim, who are currently ranked No.1 and No. 2 on the GPI Player of the Year leaderboard for Sweden, the purpose of the No Filter Poker Tour is to offer the Swedes a top-notch live poker experience, not too far away from Scandinavian soil.
Today, June 12, the first edition of the No Filter Poker Tour starts. Played at the Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, many Swedes can be expected to be in the Estonian capital from June 12-15, locking horns with other poker players from all across the globe.

The Perfect Substitute
The No Filter Poker Tour is in no way exclusive to only Swedish players, even though it was created with their best interest in mind. With flights, Tallinn is roughly one hour away from various Swedish airports, which makes it an easy location for Swedes to travel to and enjoy some poker.
Today, there are two events on the No Filter Tour tournament schedule. Kicking things off at 18:00 is the €200 No Limit Hold’em event. Three hours later, it’ll be time for the €80 Satellite to the €1,100 Main Event. The satellite has three tickets guaranteed, and it’s the cheapest way to secure the Main Event seat.
