Three events are in the books at the 2026 PGT PLO Series at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, with a fourth wrapping up tonight. Sam Soverel opened the series with a win in Event #1 on September 24. Robert Chorlian followed with his first PGT title in Event #2 on September 27.
Roussos Koliakoudakis, a Greek PLO specialist competing in just his second live PGT event, closed out Event #3 on September 28 for $198,000 and his first tour title. And Event #4, the $10,500 PLO Quattro Bounty, is down to its final three players tonight, with James Chen holding the chip lead. Five events remain, leading to the $26,000 PLO Championship on October 2.
Robert Chorlian Wins Event #2: $5,300 PLO
USA’s Robert Chorlian came from the short stack to win Event #2, the $5,300 Pot-Limit Omaha, on September 27 at the PokerGO Studio, earning $135,150 and his first PGT title. The 106-entry field generated a $530,000 prize pool.
Chorlian entered the six-handed final table with the shortest stack, doubled up through Spain’s Lautaro Guerra, then ran over the field, eliminating Taylor Paur in sixth, Cesar Garcia in fifth, Ky Nguyen in fourth, and Sean Rafael in third before topping Guerra heads-up.
The heads-up was short, with Chorlian holding more than double Guerra’s stack. A few hands in, Guerra got it in thin with a lesser two pair to collect the $84,800 runner-up prize.
Meanwhile, the $135,150 top prize barely topped two of his other big scores, and this one came with a trophy. He took third place in the 2023 PGT U.S. Poker Open $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $126,000 before nearly winning a WSOP bracelet in the $600 Pot Limit Omaha Deepstack for $129,084.

Roussos Koliakoudakis Wins Event #3: $10,500 PLO
Greece’s Roussos Koliakoudakis won Event #3, the $10,500 Pot-Limit Omaha, on September 28 at the PokerGO Studio, earning $198,000 and his first career PGT title. The 66-entry field built a $660,000 prize pool.
Koliakoudakis began his dominant and memorable display at the final table with more than half the chips in play and dominated from wire to wire, eliminating Sean Rafael in fourth, Chino Rheem in third, and Brevin Andreadis heads-up in a hand where Koliakoudakis flopped top pair with a club flush draw and straight draw against Andreadis’ top pair, with Andreadis calling off his stack and bricking the river.
With 198 PGT points from the win, Koliakoudakis moved to second on the series leaderboard behind only Robert Chorlian, who leads with 203.

James Chen Leads the Final Three of Event #4: $10,500 PLO Quattro Bounty
Event #4, the $10,500 PLO Quattro Bounty, drew 57 entries and is down to three players at the PokerGO Studio. The Quattro Bounty format is a progressive bounty in which the bounties stay dormant for the first portion of the tournament, then activate once 25% of the field remains, at four times the value they would carry in a standard progressive bounty.
In Event #4, the bounties switched on when the field reached 14 players, with each bounty worth $16,000. The 57-entry field generated a $570,000 prize pool ($342,000 in base prizes, $228,000 in bounties), with nine places paid and a min-cash of $11,400.
USA’s James Chen leads with 3,745,000 chips after an incredible run through the field, collecting six bounties worth $96,000 on the day. Italy’s Youness Barakat sits with about half of Chen’s stack in second with 1,750,000, and the United Kingdom’s Richard Gryko not too far behind Barakat with 1,630,000.
The action resumes on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. PT with the start of Level 18 (25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante). The structure runs 30-minute blind levels throughout. PokerGo founder Cary Katz was the last player eliminated before the night ended, cashing in fourth for $34,200.
