The 2025 Festival Rozvadov stealth-started on Saturday, May 10, as the first of two remote starting flights for the €150 Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) ran in King’s Casino, Prague. Presumably, no one missed that the THMC during The Festival Rozvadov is expected to be record-shattering; the €300,000 guarantee is massive considering the €150 buy-in.
So, who were the players who moved on from Saturday’s flight, and who bagged the chip lead? Let’s take a close look at the results from the weekend. Spoiler alert: there may be a familiar face at the top of the chip counts.

Founding Father Finds Fire
It’s safe to say that The Festival Rozvadov is off to a great start; 71 entries were made in the THMC Day 1a Prague remote flight, which is one more entry than Day 1a saw of the event last year in Rozvadov. Remote flights for a €150 tournament are very rare, and to not only do it but also surpass 2024’s initial flight by one entry is a receipt that all the hard work put in by The Festival crew really pays off.
When the players took their seats at King’s Casino Prague on Saturday, May 10, they would play until 15% of the field remained. After late registration closed, it was announced that nine players would move on to Day 2, which will be played at King’s Resort Rozvadov, June 8. All nine players would also secure a €300 min-cash, and the two biggest stacks would also receive a €550 ticket for the Festival Main Event.
When play concluded and the nine survivors bagged their chips, a familiar face was at the top of the rankings. No one other than the founding father of The Festival, Martin “Franke” Von Zweigbergk, bagged 871,000, which was roughly 300,000 more than David Vesely, who claimed the other €550 Main Event ticket.

Prague to Host One More
As previously mentioned, this was the first of two remote flights in Prague. The second one will be played on June 6. On the same date, the first two flights will commence on-site in Rozvadov. Those who bag from the Prague starting flights will be reunited with their stack on Day 2, June 8, in Rozvadov, and battle it out for the largest slice of the €300,000 guaranteed prize pool alongside the other Day 1 advancers.
