After two sublime events in Rozvadov and Malta earlier this year, The Festival will soon round off the 2025 season with its third and final happening in Bratislava. Between November 18-24, poker enthusiasts from all over the world will travel to the Slovakian capital and compete at Banco Casino for glory in all the prestigious tournaments.
One of the key ingredients to The Festival’s success is the incomprehensible amount of online qualifiers and satellites that they’re running all year long. In fact, the last couple of days have been absolutely insane, and a swarm of players have all secured seats and accommodation to what is destined to be a live poker event for the ages. Let’s take a look in the rear mirror and see how many packages/seats have gone out in recent times, and break down what opportunities players have going forward to qualify for the 2025 Festival Bratislava.
A Smorgasbord of Qualifiers
Someone should pay a scientist from Liechtenstein to examine the founder of The Festival, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk. He really is a madlad, and surely, his dedication, thrive, and love for the poker community are signs that he’s from a world different from ours. He, his team, and all his partners have managed to create a successful collaboration, and thanks to this, there are more online qualifiers and satellites running all year for the various The Festival events.
Take this past weekend, for example. Friday, October 24, at least five €550 tickets were distributed to players through a qualifier on the iPoker network. The fact that players can join the qualifiers for The Festival on all iPoker clients is something that has proven to be very appreciated by the players; whether one prefers to play on Coolbet, Champion Poker, Guts, Betsafe, Bettson, or any other side connected to the iPoker network, the qualifiers and the satellites for The Festival will always be accessible.
On Saturday, October 25, there was at least one €550 ticket going to a lucky winner through a qualifier on KKPoker. That very same day also saw a live satellite, as there was a guaranteed €1,600 package up for grabs at the Chesterfield Poker Club, Tallinn. The whole weekend closed out with a bang, as Sunday, October 26, saw various poker operators distribute a swarm of Main Event tickets/packages for The 2025 Festival Bratislava. The iPoker network had a guarantee of seven €1,850 packages, which all found new owners. Betsson Group (consisting of Nordicbet, Betsson, GUTS, and Betsafe) handed out three packages valued at the same amount. Coolbet had a guarantee of two €1,600 packages, as did EpicBet. Counting the qualifiers that still are to be held before October ends, 30 packages and eight Main Event tickets will have been distributed over a ten-day span. In other words, an absolutely crazy campaign; hats off to Franke and all his partners for pulling this off. The possibilities to secure one’s ticket to The 2025 Festival Bratislava truly are endless.
The best part is that this weekend was not the end. There will still be a swarm of satellites and/or qualifiers on various online poker sites for the next three weeks.
