The flagship event of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London, the £500 buy-in £100,000 guaranteed Main Event, kicked off yesterday at Genting Casino, Stratford, with players hoping to add their name to an illustrious list of debut season champions.
Getnet Kassa became the inaugural PartyPoker Tour Main Event champion, triumphing in London back in April for a £38,408 payday, while Deniz Orhan succeeded him in Manchester for a £19,843 score.

Zhen Zhen then overcame a stacked final table in Glasgow, including David Lappin and PartyPoker ambassador Jaime Staples, to become the first female winner, boosting her bankroll by £22,500, while Tai Hoang locked-up £27,420 after victory at the penultimate stop in Birmingham. The win capped a remarkable week for Hoang, who also finished runner-up in the Mini Main for £9,080.
Day 1a attracted a total of 95 entrants, and 23 players bagged and tagged for Day 2, representing 25% of the field. Kartik Kartik rose to the summit of the standings after accumulating a 618,000 stack, giving him a substantial lead over Andreas Orthodoxou (410,000) and T.S. (368,000).
Triple Crown winner Niall Farrell (111,000) also found a bag, while Player of the Year contenders Alexander Georgiev (188,000) and Orhan (217,000) are both in the mix.
