The UK’s Ashley Brown min-raised to 320,000 from UTG+1. Chip leader Alexey Neofitov made the call from the Small Blind, and the two of them were heads-up to the flop.
Neofitov donk-bet 250,000 on the 6♥3♦2♦ flop, and Brown made the call. Neofitov sized down to a shy 160,000 on the 8♣ turn, to which Brown responded by raising to 750,000. Neofitov then forced his opponent all in for 2,480,000, and Brown made the call.
Alexey Neofitov: 8♦6♦
Ashley Brown: A♥A♦
What a flop it had been for Neofitov, and the turn wasn’t too shabby, either. For good measure, he improved to a flush on the 4♦ river to send Brown home in eighth place for €5,500. Neofitov became the first player to reach an eight-digit stack.
Alexey Neofitov: 11,460,000
Ashley Brown: 0
