Blasillo Bubbles; Play has Concluded

Level 17:5,000/10,000 (10,000)
Entries:47/314
Prizes:€96,500

The board read 810754 with roughly 200,000 in the middle. German Fred Wulff (Small Blind) forced Luis Blasillo all in for 74,000 on the river. Blasillo spent some time in the tank, and eventually, another played called the clock on him. With 10 seconds left on the countdown, he made the call.

Fred Wulff: 55
Luis Blasillo: 99

A set was enough for Wulff to claim the pot, and doing so, sending Blasillo to the rail. As such, Basillo became the unfortunate bubble boy, and the remaining 47 players can now bag their chips. They will return tomorrow for Day 2, which kicks off at 19:00. Before then, it’s Day 1d, the final starting-day flight of the €150 Mini Main Event.

That wraps up today’s live coverage here on poker.pro. With its 314 entries, Day 1b became the largest-ever starting-day flight of this flagship tournament of the PartyPoker Tour. The poker.pro editorial office will return with the Day 1b and Day 1c chip counts shortly. Tomorrow’s live blog will kick off at 19:00 when Day 2 commences; see ya’ll then.

Fred Wulff: 760,000
Luis Blasillo: 0
