It’s the fourth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Madrid, and it’s going to be a big one. While the €500 Main Event will kick off with its first starting-day flights, accompanied by a few side events on the schedule, the final day of the €150 Mini Main Event has to be considered the star of the show.

What a tournament this has been thus far. Nine hundred eighty-eight entries have created a €114,750 prize pool; more than double the €50,000 guarantee. Day 1a broke the record (309 entries), becoming the biggest-ever starting-day flight of the tournament that has been a part of all PartyPoker Tour Stops. The record stood for 24 hours before Day 1b registered 314 entries. Coming close to 1,000 entries in total, the tournament is proof not only that the Spanish live poker scene is hot and heavy, but also that the PartyPoker Tour has come a long way, establishing itself as a one-of-a-kind live poker circuit in just a year and a half.

Day 3 will kick off at 19:00, with 27 players returning. Spaniard Kevin Lezcano has earned himself the best presumptions for a deep run, beginning the final day as the chip leader with 3,000,000. It won’t be a walk in the park, though; 2025 PartyPoker Tour Leaderboard winner Alexander “Wishiper96” Georgiev also has a very healthy stack, as is the case with the UK’s Edin Hrnjic. During the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield in January, Georgiev finished second, and Hrnjic finished third; they’re both out for redemption.

PartyPoker Tour Ambassador/poker legend Joe Beevers is also still in the mix. During Blinds 25,000/50,000, Beevers was down to 30,000. Two hands later, he had 560,000. Entering Day 3 with 10 Big Blinds, there is at least some wiggle room for “The Elegance” to work with.
