The final three players in Event #3 decided to make a deal shortly after Level 28 began. With the blinds getting big, and the entries for the 5-Card PLO nearing the end, chip leader Mike Malm wanted to get into Event #8 and so was eager to make the deal.
I don’t have the details of the deal at the moment, but Malm gave up some money to end it early. Below is a look at the final table results, but the payouts for the top three reflect the official numbers, not the numbers after the deal.
