Mantas Bagočius won the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition €555 NLH Championship at Olympic Voodoo Casino in Riga. The Lithuanian registered at the last possible moment on Final Day, ran over a nine-handed final table, rejected a three-way deal as the short stack, and came back to eliminate the remaining field without dropping a hand that mattered. He took €13,115 and a second major OlyBet title in less than a year.
Egidijus Matonis, who finished third in the Championship, came straight back to win the €200 NLH Evening Turbo. Joni Nenonen won a progressive bounty event for the second time in as many days, this time in PLO4/PLO5 format after taking down the NLH bounty on Wednesday. The €1,100 Main Event fires Day 1B at Olympic Voodoo Casino Thursday at 4 p.m., with Richard Hayes live on the tables for poker.pro.

Bagočius Wins the €555 NLH Championship
The €555 NLH Championship ran across two starting flights and a Final Day, finishing with 94 entries and a €44,650 prize pool. Bagočius came in as the Day 2 chip leader after registering late and immediately running over the field. He entered the final table with 725,000 chips, nearly double the second stack, and he never relinquished the lead for long.
On the final day, Bagočius eliminated Tomas Dalidonis in 9th and Jari Mahonen in 8th before Egidijus Matonis wrestled the chip lead from him at the third break with seven remaining. Bagočius responded by sending Ģirts Niedrītis and Ēriks Krūmiņš to the rail before Lasse Melby ran into the made hand of Matonis in 5th. Jurgis Beinoras fell in 4th after Bagočius hero-called a river bluff on an ace-paired board, his sixth elimination of the day.
Three-handed, the stacks were close. Modāns was slightly ahead, Bagočius at the rear. A deal was discussed. Bagočius wanted an even chop. The others disagreed. Play resumed. Bagočius quickly rebuilt his stack and eliminated Matonis when his opponent jammed the turn, drawing dead. He went into heads-up against Modāns with a near 4:1 chip lead, showed a big bluff to put the Latvian on tilt, then got it in good and rivered a nut flush to close it out.
“I had the short stack, but it was close, and I wanted an even chop,” Bagočius said to poker.pro reporter Richard Hayes. “They didn’t agree, and I wasn’t happy with the ICM numbers, so we decided to play on, and it went my way, so yes, very happy.”
“I mean, live poker is another scene compared with online poker. I’d really love to translate my online success to live, and I think I’m on the way to do that, but the goal is always to go higher. When you run good, you start playing good; you find the necessary bluffs; you find the folds when you have to. It was a real rollercoaster ride.”
Bagočius adds a second OlyBet title to go alongside his Kings of Vilnius €1,100 Main Event title in November 2025, where he took €58,130 from a 327-entry field after a heads-up deal with Paulius Kisielius. He also holds a WSOP ring from the WSOP Online Super Circuit $215 Mystery Millions, which he won for $411,850, and the 2015 Sunday Million title, which he won for $168,883 a decade ago. After collecting his trophy, he immediately entered the €250 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty side event still running at the casino.

Matonis Wins the €200 NLH Evening Turbo
Egidijus Matonis had already put in a full day’s work by the time the €200 NLH Evening Turbo fired. He finished third in the €555 Championship for €5,890, led the chip counts at the third break, and had gone deep enough to push Bagočius all the way before finally falling in heads-up play for third. Then he sat back down and won a tournament.
Matonis took the €200 NLH Evening Turbo from a 23-entry field for €1,485, defeating Estonia’s Siim Kabel heads-up. A third-place finish in the day’s biggest event and a trophy before midnight. Not a bad Wednesday for the Lithuanian.

Nenonen Wins a Second Bounty Trophy in Two Days, This Time in PLO
Just one day after winning the €250 NLH Progressive Bounty on Day 4, Finland’s Joni Nenonen came back and did it again in a completely different format. The €250 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty drew 55 entries for €5,995 in regular prizes and €5,500 in bounties.
Nenonen and Lithuanian Justas Vaičiulionis both locked up €1,475 from the prize pool before Nenonen collected the final bounty and the trophy. Back-to-back days. Two different games. One Finn standing with the hardware both times.
