The final game of PPT #4 starts Sunday at 1 PM. The Last Chance NLH starts with 25k in chips for 30-minute levels, and players can buy in for the first 8 levels of play.
That should mean the final chance to buy in comes at about 5:30 PM, and after that, they’ll play down to a winner. Alek Gillies will be handling the reporting duties on the final day of this series, while I drive home a bit early to get some extra time between this and Calgary next week, but this game may finish before Day 2 of the Main, so coverage might be limited.
This past July, Mike Malm took down the final event over Benny Sarnelli, with Sarnelli’s runner-up securing him the Player of the Series last time around. The game got 104 entries for prizes of $39,520.
Last Septemeber, in a smaller ($340) version of this game, Roger Hoyt defeated Alan Zhu for the Last Chance trophy. The game got 127 entries for prizes of $36,190.
