It was another busy day of poker action at Olympic Voodoo Casino in Riga on September 24, as the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition continued at pace.
Nikita Zarovs led four qualifiers in Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event, while three players qualified from Day 1b of the €200 Mini Main, led by Edgars Beizaks.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hasan Majidi emerged triumphant in the €200 PLO4/PLO5, earning his first recorded live tournament win.

Zarovs Leads Four Qualifiers from €1,100 Main Event Day 1b

Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event drew 10 entries, with the prize pool currently at €9,500. Four players qualified for Day 2, led by Nikita Zarovs (156,500) and Eriks Krumins (134,500), both from Latvia, while Mantas Bagocius, Linas Bulksas, Jaakko Hotti, Tomas Dailidonis and Liutauras Armanavicius all failed to progress.
Zarovs came third in the Main Event last year, and has put himself in prime position to turn bronze into gold this time around. Krumins already owns two OlyBet Showdown trophies from side events and is a two-time WSOPC ring winner, while Beinoras is the reigning OlyBet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event Champion, having lifted the trophy in March.

Friday Schedule (September 25)
Day 1c of the €1,100 NLH Main Event kicks off at 4 p.m., and Richard Hayes will be live at the tables for poker.pro.
The €200 Mini Main Event also runs its final starting flight, Day 1c, at 7 p.m., while Day 1 of the €350 NLH Mystery Bounty kicks off 6.30 p.m.
In the Mystery Bounty, players will start with a 30,000 stack, with 30-minute levels, and late registration remains open until the start of Level 11. Play will continue until 13% of the field remains, all of whom will be in the moneny.
Day 2 kicks off at noon on September 26, when the mystery bounties will come into play.
