The side event on Opening Day is mixed-game poker. Levels alternate between no limit hold’em (odd levels) and pot limit Omaha (even levels) for the duration of the game.
Side-game action gets going at 4 PM, and entries are open for 8 levels of play. Including breaks, that should put the last chance to enter the game at about 8:30 PM. Players get 25k in chips for their buy-in and play levels that are 30 minutes long throughout the night (20 minutes heads up).
This will be the second priority for Alek on opening day. He’ll be focusing on the Seniors game to start (and hopefully following me through to my first live win), but will move over to cover the endgame of this one once I win the 50+ trophy.
