The last hand before the dinner break, action folded to PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell, who opened to 3,100 from UTG+1. “No, no, NO!” he shouted in panic as Olivian Vadean made the call from the Big Blind.

Vadean check-called a 3,000 continuation bet from Firaldo on the 6410 flop. Action went check-check on the 5 turn, before Vadean bet 7,500 on the 6 river. Firaldo sighed as he mucked his hand.

“Did you bluff me?” Firaldo asked his opponent.

“No,” Vadean answered.

“For sure?” Firaldo continued. At this point, Vadean decided to reveal his Q7 holdings for a missed flush draw.

“No!” Firaldo let out a cry that everyone at Casino Gran Via could hear. “I love it!” he continued, saluting his opponent’s play.

The players are now heading for a 40-minute dinner break. There are currently 309 entries in Day 1b; exactly as many as yesterday, which is the biggest-ever starting-day flight of the €150 Mini Main Event during the PartyPoker Tour’s year-and-a-half-long history.

Olivian Vadean: 101,000
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 31,000
