The snow-dusted streets of Vilnius frame a sizzling poker scene at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker, now underway at Olympic Casino Lietuva from Jan. 10-18.
Fresh arrivals like 2020 Kings of Tallinn champ Johan Karlsson and 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event champion Jenny Westerlund joined last night, priming the action for the €555 NLH Championship (Jan. 12–15) and €1,100 Main Event (Jan. 14–18).
The first of the two opening flights of the three-day €555 NLH Championship attracted 76 entries to add €36,100 to the prize pool. Italy’s Francesco De Martini parlayed his 30,000 opening stack nearly 10-fold before bagging 294,500 to lead the 21 survivors. Lithuanian poker beast Deividas Butnoras (288,500) and Latvia’s Juris Liepins (206,500) also bagged more than 200,000 to end Day 1a.
The poker.pro Team, headlined by Christoffer Karlen, will be reporting this event at poker.pro starting on Wednesday on Day 2 until a winner is crowned on Thursday, before hopping into the Main Event reporting.
Meanwhile, two players won trophies on Monday. One is a familiar name as Lithuania’s Andrej Michailov earned his second trophy this festival after defeating Valerij Kudriavcev heads-up in the €250 PLO5 for €2,090. Michailov won the first trophy of the festival in the €200 PLO5 Bounty, taking down the field for €894 plus bounties. The PLO trifecta now becomes a live sweat for Michailov with two more stand-alone PLO events on the schedule, along with the €200 Sviten on Friday and the €200 NLH/PLO4 Button Round of Each on Saturday.
France’s Baptiste Caim won the final trophy on Monday after defeating Lithuania’s Dominykas Rimkevičius heads-up in the €200 NLH for €1,485.

Can Anyone Stop Andrej Michailov in PLO?
Andrej Michailov is making a name for himself at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker by winning his second PLO trophy on Monday in the €250 PLO5 for €2,090.
The event attracted 25 entries, creating a €5,225 prize pool, with the top four players earning at least a €730 min-cash for nearly triple the buy-in after WSOP bracelet winner Vincas Tamašauskas bubbled in fifth place.

Baptiste Caim Completes Two-Thirds of Baltic Trifecta

Recently, France’s Baptiste Caim has been seen competing in OlyBet Poker events across the three Baltic countries of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. While he has managed plenty of cashes, he earned his first international live-tournament victory in October in Riga, winning the €350 OlyBet Value Series Riga Main Event for €3,125.
Caim is now only missing a trophy in Tallinn after winning the €200 NLH last night for €1,485. He will have his chance soon enough with the 2026 Kings of Tallinn from Feb. 5-15 at Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park.
In addition to Caim, three other players earned payout slips in the €200 NLH, which attracted 23 entries for a €3,715 prize pool, after Lithuania’s Dainius Pociukonis busted in fifth place on the bubble, including Dominykas Rimkevičius (second – €1,040), Gintaras Naglius (third – €670), and Toni Jaervisalo (fourth – €520).
