When it comes to live poker in Europe, OlyBet is a serious contender on the stage. Hosting many big and appreciated events, such as the Kings of Tallinn and the OlyBet Showdowns, players travel from all across the world to participate in absolute top-class poker tournaments.
The OlyBet train is not slowing down, and soon, it’s time for a new chapter in Baltic poker history to be written. From May 17-25, it’s time for the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius, hosted by Olympic Casino Lietuva, and with a €1,100 Main Event headlining the show, there’s no doubt we’ll see some fireworks in the Lithuanian capital.
Will History Repeat Itself?
In order to comprehend the magnitude of the upcoming €1,100 Main Event during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius, we need to go back to the 2025 Kings of Tallinn that was played February 20 – March 2. Here, we also saw an OlyBet Main Event with a €1,100 buy-in, and the result of the tournament speaks for itself. Teresa Nousiainen and her crew went for broke in this 10-year celebratory edition of Kings of Tallinn; all their hard work paid off, and the €1,000,000 guarantee was reached by some margin. Kaspars Butans claimed the most desirable €182,000 first-place payout, out of the €1,098,330 prize pool (a staggering 1,181 entries were made in the tournament).
Then, in Riga, we also saw a tournament of the same caliber during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition. Latvia’s Roberts Krigers captured the €1,100 Main Event title and was awarded an impressive €33,300 for his achievements.

Of course, the reason that we’re mentioning this, is because it may indicate what’s in store for all players in Vilnius in roughly two weeks. This is the first-ever €1,100 Main Event on Lithuanian soil, and presumably, many poker players from all across the globe will take their shot in the tournament, competing for top dollar.
The three-day event features three starting flights, with the first one kicking off on May 21. As is often the case with OlyBet events, registration will also be open during the earlier levels of Day 2, which is scheduled for May 23. Day 3, the final day, will commence on May 24, and that’s when we’ll see a historic winner be crowned in what perhaps will be the most prestigious live poker tournament in Lithuania this year.

A Desirable Location
The 2025 OlyBet Vilnius Showdown will be played at Olympic Casino Lithuania. Located in the heart of Vilnius, the scenery surrounding the Olympic Casino Lithuania makes it a magical place, and it should definitely be on your must-visit list of casinos. Adjoined with the Radisson Blu Hotel, players can’t ask for better accommodation with the poker room just a couple of stairs down. When not seated at the tables, why not take a stroll along the Neris River, which flows through the entirety of Lithuania. Trust us when we say it’s quite the scenic route.
We’re so thrilled for the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius, and as the official media partner of the event, we can’t wait to see the action unfold in the €1,100 Main Event.
