OlyBet is the train that never stops running, where all passengers want to get off and spend some time at every stop. OlyBet arranges several live poker events every year, with one festival building upon the next. They’ve already had a bunch of successful festivals this year, such as the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius, the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga, the 2025 Kings of Tallinn, the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker, and more.
Soon, it’s back to Riga for the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Autumn Edition. This will, without a shred of doubt, be one of Latvia’s poker highlights of the year, and with an impeccable, diversified tournament schedule – featuring a €1,100 Main Event – this gem of a poker festival ought to attract poker players from all over the world.
An Experience Venue
The Olympic Voodoo Casino, Riga, is no stranger to hosting sublime live poker events. Throughout the years, they’ve hosted events such as the Latvian Poker Championship, the Betsafe Open Championship, the Olympic Summer Festival, and many, many more. Most recently, in March, the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition was played at what is the given place for live poker in the Latvian capital.

Now it’s time for them to roll out the red carpet once again, as the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Autumn Edition will be played from September 20 to 28. OlyBet Showdown is, as they so well describe it themselves, “the premier poker festival series, bringing together enthusiasts from across the Baltic States and beyond for a celebration of live poker”. The arrangement during these events is always top class, guaranteeing players the perfect live poker experience; everything from the tournament structures to the overall hospitality is created with the player’s best interest in mind, and time and time again, OlyBet Showdown displays impressive consistency in their event arrangements.

This time will be no different, and the festival’s tournament schedule really offers something for all players. With buy-ins ranging from €80 to €1,100, both grassroots players and aspiring professionals are guaranteed to find tournaments of their liking. In fact, there are more than 30 unique tournaments on the schedule.
It wouldn’t be a live poker festival without a Main Event. The €1,100 Main Event will surely be the tournament on most people’s minds. It’s a three-day affair with three starting-day flights. Each of the Day 1 flights will play 12 levels, before the survivors will bag their chips for Day 2. That being said, late registration is open until the conclusion of Level 14, meaning that players can register during the first two levels of Day 2.

This isn’t the first time an OlyBet Showdown Main Event has featured the €1,100 buy-in. That was also the case during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius back in May, where Rokas Skridulis conquered a field consisting of 187 entries, claiming a €32,595 prize after doing a deal heads-up with Rasmus Sihvonen. Regarding the latest event on Latvian soil – the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition – Roberts Krigers won that €1,100 Main Event for €33,300 (141 entries).
Apart from the Main Event, the €555 NLH Championship will also be one of the most popular tournaments. With two starting-day flights before a culminating Day 2, this tournament more or less kicks off the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Autumn Edition, as the first flight is scheduled on September 21.
Another two-day event is the €350 NLH OlyBOOST Mystery Bounty. It’s been said before, but it’s worth saying again; few things are as enjoyable as a live poker mystery bounty, and the surprise element of one’s potential reward adds an extra spice.
PLO, Ladies Event, Progressive Bounty… it truly is a perfect tournament schedule that features something for everyone.
