Lukas Kviecinskas Leads Final 13 in Main Event
Level 22: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 13/296 Prizes: €140,600 Lukas Kviecinskas It’s been a long and fun week for poker players in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. But on the ninth and final day, the final 13 players get set to battle it out for OlyBet glory in the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker €555 Main Event and the €28,760 top prize with already €2,420 locked up on Day 2.
Lukas Kviecinskas will lead the way to kick things off with 1,130,000- and comes into the event with under $10,000 in cashes at The Hendon Mob. A deep run today will more than double his earnings but time will tell whether his starting advantage will parlay into a trophy.
Kviecinskas’s lead is far from secure as he is just 30,000 chips ahead with blinds starting at 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 big blind ante of Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs with 1,100,000. Nerius Rutkauskas was also a chip millionaire to end Day 2 with 1,035,000 with Vygerdas Jonikas (960,000) and Finland’s Rasmus Sihvonen (935,000) rounding out the top five.
Meanwhile, Vilius Zabarauskas, is on the end end of the scale with one of the shortest stacks with 285,000. Zabarauskas shined during the first two days after winning trophies at the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker in back-to-back days to start the festival.

Stanevičius’ Confidence is High
Break N/A Entries: 46/296 Prizes: €140,600 Aurimas Stanevicius The second 15-minute break of Day 2 just started. Just minutes before the last hand was dealt Tomas Bassus, Bartosz Gorski, and Augustas Bareiša bust from the tournament, which means the total number of players in right now is at 46.
One who’s not out of the tournament though is Aurimas Stanevičius. The Lithuanian came to OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker with a lot of confidence; at the end of 2024, he won the €1,100 Kings of Vilnius Main Event for €61,455. During the first minutes of the break, this reporter, Christoffer Karlén, had a small chat with Stanevičius.
Stanevičius recognizes the heater but shared he hasn’t changed much other than high confidence and consistency.
“I think so, I’ve been in really good shape recently,” shared Stanevičius about his recent amazing run. “I haven’t been doing anything differently but I’m playing with much confidence; I’ve been playing good consistently and now I’m harvesting the fruits.”
Stanevičius had a deep run two days ago in the €1,100 High Roller but eventually bowed out in 10th place for €2,550 on the final table bubble. Regardless, his love of OlyBet events in the Baltics including the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker always shines.
“It’s awesome,” Stanevičius said about the Vilnius Ace Breaker. “I always love playing the OlyBet events in Vilnius, Tallinn, etc. They are my favourite events!”
Meanwhile, Stanevičius is alive and well with the money bubble approaching with 150,000 in chips on his third bullet of the event. Will the trifecta of OlyBet Main Event titles be completed in less than a year? There is still a long way to go, but one thing we won’t do is ever count Stanevičius out as long as he has chips.
Aurimas Stanevičius also won the €1,500 WSOPC Tallinn 2024 Main Event. There’s no exaggeration that Stanevičius came to Vilnius with a lot of confidence. When asked if there’s been any memorable hand during the week, he recalls a spot in the €1,100 High Roller where I called down a tripple-barrel bluff with king high and winning at showdown. Stanevičius knows what he’s doing at the poker table and he has another poker trip coming up soon to Cambodia.
Thanks to Aurimas Stanevičius for the chat, and we wish him good luck in the tournament!

Tomas Muraška: J♥J♠
Jonikas Vygerdas: A♣K♥A classic encounter which this time went the way of Vygerdas, seeing as the board spelled out A♠10♥5♥Q♥7♠. Muraška bid farewell to the table, seeing as Vygerdas had him covered with roughly 20,000.

Jautakis Hungry for More
Level 10: 600/1,200 (1,200) Entries: 50/86 Prizes: €106,400 Linas Jautakis Linas Jautakis is one of the 55 players currently in Day 1b of the Main Event. Given his success here throughout the years, Jautakis is presumably comfortable at Olympic Casino Vilnius.
At the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius in the summer of 2023, Jautakis won the €1,100 High Roller for €18,880. This is the second-best cash for Jautakis; in 2021, he won the €250 Betsafe Fisherman Challenge Main Event for €41,160.
To top it off, Jautakis seems to be in great form, considering his latest three Hendon Mob scores are all first-place finishes.
Jautakis is one of many great players left in the field. The quality of poker is high at Olympic Casino Vilnius, and the atmosphere is electrifying!

Three Streets, One Sizing
Level 9: 500/1,000 (1,000) Entries: 53/86 Prizes: €106,400 Rolandas Aglinskas raised to 2,000 under the gun. He got called by Egidijus Liutkevičius from the cut-off, and big blind-player Paulius Kostickis also joined the party.
On the K♠2♠9♥ flop, Kostickis checked prior to Aglinskas betting 2,500. Liutkevičius called, but Kostickis threw his cards into the muck.
Turn was the 8♠ and Aglinskas continued the 2,500 betting trend. Liutkevičius called once again and the players were introduced to the Q♦ on the river.
Aglinskas now checked and Liutkevičius was the one betting – you guessed it – 2,500. Aglinskas called and Liutkevičius turned over K♦K♥. Top set was enough and Liutkevičius won a decent pot.
Rolandas Aglinskas: 64,500

Sivaskovas and Aglinskas checked the flop, and the action repeated itself on the J♠ turn. On the river 6♠ however, Sivakovas bet 25,000 and Aglinskas called.
Ernestas Stalemekas: A♦A♥

Level 6: 200/500 (500) Entries: 56/60 Prizes: €94,050 At Table 6, Arūnas Kontautas and Ramūnas Pocevičius engaged in some pre-flop shenanigans before clashing all in. Pocevičius was the player at risk with 15,200 – 800 less than Kontautas.
Arūnas Kontautas: A♥K♣
Ramūnas Pocevičius: J♠J♣The board ran out A♦J♥A♣9♦4♥ which brought quite the laughter to the table. Kontautas was left with crumbles.

Deuces never Loses
Level 5: 200/400 (400) Entries: 54/56 Prizes: €92,150 On a 6♣6♥6♠K♣ board, there were 24,000 in the middle. In a blind-VS-blind battle, Matas Budginas continued being the aggressor and put in another 6,000. Edgaras Truskauskas wasn’t going anywhere, though, and he made the call.
The river was the 7♥, and Budginas now went all-in for 14,000. This move sent Truskauskas into the tank; he only had 18,000 left himself, and this could’ve been the biggest pot of the tournament so far.
After maybe 3 minutes, Truskauskas made the call.
Matas Budginas: A♥Q♣
Edgaras Truskauskas: 2♥2♦Truskauskas was visibly pleased with his call. As he collected the chips, Budginas left the tournament area. Prior to him, Povilas Astašauskas had become the first person to bust out from the tournament.

Apolianskas Survives
Level 4: 100/300 (300) Entries: 52/52 Prizes: €90,250 There’s been nu bust-out so far, but the all in-triangle has been put on the felt a couple of times.
With 14,000 in the middle, the board read Q♣8♣10♣9♦10♠. Valdemaras Apolianskas went all in for 12,000. Povilas Astašauskas folded before Rolandas Aglinskas decided to make the call.
Valdemaras Apolianskas: K♠J♠
Rolandas Aglinskas: A♣10♦One can understand the thought process of Aglinskas, blocking the nut flush. This time however, the pot went the way of Apolinskas leaving Aglinskas fairly short-stacked.

Pilinkus’ Kicker is no Good
Level 4: 100/300 (300) Entries: 52/52 Prizes: €90,250 The board read J♣8♣10♠4♠J♦ and there were 7,500 in the middle. Mantas Urbonas bet 6,500 and Donatas Pilinkus was visibly uncomfortable with Urbonas’ move. After a minute’s consideration, Pilinkus called.
Urbonas turned over A♦J♠ for three-of-a-kind with top kicker. Pilinkus looked at his hand for a good 15 seconds; he revealed the J♥ before mucking his hand.
Mantas Urbonas: 62,000
Donatas Pilinkus: 24,000 -
Rudnik Soars to the Top
Level 4: 100/300 (300) Entries: 52/52 Prizes: €90,250 Ridas Bitauskas raised to 800 from the hi-jack. Grigorij Rudnik (cut-off)and Justinas Adomauskas (big blind) both called.
Adomauskas checked the 8♠4♠J♦ flop prior to Bitauskas betting 1,100. Rudnik quickly raised to 2,700. This caused Adomauskas to fold, while Bitauskas decided to call.
Both players checked the J♣ turn, and Bitauskas continued the passive line as he also checked on the 7♥ river. Rudnik bet 2,000 and Bitauskas called.
Rudnik turned over Q♠Q♦; a pair of queens was obviously enough to win the hand seeing as Bitauskas mucked his hand.

Familiar Names in the Field
Level 1: 100/100 Entries: 19/19 Prizes: €74,575 As more and more players keep entering Day 1B, there are some names that may be familiar.

Ernestas Stalemekas finished 2nd in the €200 Olympic Spring Cup Main Event 2016, and he’s still looking for his first title on home soil.

The river was the Q♣ and Lapinskas sized down, betting 6,000. Bryndza took his time, and then, he raised to 26,000. This move seemed to catch Lapinskas off guard; he leaned back in his chair and contemplated for roughly 2 minutes before he decided to let his cards hit the muck.
