Skridulis Secures Biggest Win after a Thrilling Heads-up Battle
Rokas Skridolis Saturday, May 24, was the second-to-last day of the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius. The highlight of the schedule this day was, naturally, the final table of the €1,100 Main Event. At noon, nine fierce competitors would take their seats and battle for eternal poker glory, a quite unique trophy, and the €40,060 first-place prize.
Off to the Races
It’s safe to say that the €1,100 Main Event had been a success; 187 entries had created a €177,650 prize pool. From the get-go of the final table, it became apparent that all players had their eyes on the trophy; of course, the money is important, but the trophy and the title have their unique charm.
Vladas Burneikis The players took their seats, and it didn’t take too long before the first player was eliminated. Lithuania’s first-ever WSOP bracelet winner, Vladas Burneikis, entered the final table second-to-last in chips, and after running into the flopped straight of Rokas Skridulis, he became the first casualty for €4,880.
At the first break, Skridulis was still the chipleader and the only player with more than 1,000,000 in chips. The reigning champion, Rasmus Sihvonen, was down to 30 Big Blinds after some hands went the wrong way. Soon after the break, he got it in on the turn against Skridulis. Skridulis had Sihvonen in rough shape and was an 81,92 % favorite to eliminate the Finn, but Sihvonen hit a straight on the river to survive.
Janis Markss Play went on, and Skridulis and Sihvonen, both having relatively big stacks, took turns being the most aggressive player at the table. Eventually, Janis Markss went out against Justinas Adomauskas for €5,790, bringing the number of players down to seven. It wasn’t long after that until Adomauskas claimed his second victim, as he eliminated Sigitas Raila with pocket queens.
Gintautas Danilevičius The players went on another 15-minute break and when they got back, Adomauskas completed a hat trick, as he sent Gintautas Danilevičius to the rail. Considering he had eliminated three players, Adomauskas’ stack had now grown to the second biggest. He didn’t slow down and soon enough, he ended Aleksandras Rusinovas’ tournament life as well. Even though going out in fifth for €11,100, Rusinovas shouldn’t feel too bad, considering he won the €555 NLH Championship as well.
Aleksandras Rusinovas Adomauskas was flying high, and everything seemed to go his way. A couple of hands later, he forced Sihvonen all in on a 3♠Q♦8♥9♥3♦. After some consideration, Sihvonen made a hero call with ace high; as he was awarded the pot, he put a big dent in the Adomauskas stack. From this moment, Adomauskas started losing some pots, and eventually, it was Sihvonen who eliminated him in fourth place for €14,390, after the Finn hit a king on the river.
Justinas Adomauskas The Final Three
With Skridulis, Sihvonen, and Edgaras Truskauskas being the three players remaining, Sihvonen now was the chip leader with 3,000,000, while his two opponents were floating around the 1,000,000 mark. Soon enough, Skridulis would set the stage for a thrilling heads-up duel, as he eliminated Truskauskas in third place for €18,510 with a set of eights.
Edgaras Truskauskas Before commencing heads-up play, Sihvonen and Skridulis agreed to a deal, which secured Sihvonen the biggest slice of the cake. They continued play, and a lot was at stake for Sihvonen, as he was playing to become a back-to-back OlyBet Showdown winner.
The chiplead traded back and forth a few times. At one point, Skridulis check-raised his opponent all in on the river, and Sihvonen called, hoping his hand would be good and that the title would be his. Skridulis wasn’t bluffing, though, as he turned over a straight and took a commanding chiplead.
From that moment, Sihvonen never managed to catch up with the Vilnius resident, and eventually, they got all the chips in the middle. In classic coinflip fashion, Skridulis’ A♠J♠ beat the pocket tens of Sihvonen. There’s no doubt that Sihvonen put up a good fight and displayed some tremendous poker skills, but no second title for him on Lithuanian soil yet, as Skridulis claimed the well-deserved win.

Latvia 360,000 36 2 Edgaras Truskauskas
Lithuania 728,000 73 3 Gintautas Danilevičius
Lithuania 764,000 76 4 Rokas Skridulis
Lithuania 908,000 91 5 Rasmus Sihvonen

Lithuania 824,000 82 9 Aleksandras Rusinovas
Lithuania 777,000 78 So, what is there to know about the players that will fight for the trophy and the €40,060 first-place payout?
Rokas Skridulis (908,000)
Rokas Skridulis Rokas Skridulis enters the final table as the chip leader. While there is little to read about Skridulis’ earlier results, we learned during yesterday’s Day 2 that he is an aggressive player who likes to put maximum pressure on his opponents. With a big stack, he should be able to stick to his preferred game plan.
Sigitas Raila (824,000)
Sigitas Raila All of Sigitas Raila’s previous cashes have, according to The Hendon Mob, been on Lithuanian soil. His biggest paycheck so far is €22,630, which he earned when finishing fourth in the 2024 Kings of Vilnius Main Event. He trails only Skridulis in chips and is looking to secure another big cash today.
Aleksandras Rusinovas (777,000)
Aleksandras Rusinovas No matter today’s outcome, one could argue Aleksandras Rusinovas is having the best week out of all players here at the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius. On Wednesday, he won the €555 NLH Championship and secured €20,642. Now, he’s entering the final table third in chips, looking to capture his second title of the week.
Gintautas Danilevičius (764,000)
There is very little to know about Gintautas Danilevičius in terms of earlier poker achievements, but he was the one who eliminated Laurynas Černiauskas on yesterday’s final table bubble. There’s no doubt that Danilevičius is a competent player, and it’ll be exciting to see his strategy going into the final table.
Rasmus Sihvonen (751,000)
Rasmus Sihvonen Rasmus Sihvonen, the poker dealer turned poker player. The Finn secured his biggest cash to date when he won the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker in January for €28,760. Now he’s back in Vilnius and looking for back-to-back Main Event titles at Olympic Casino Lithuania.
Edgaras Truskauskas (728,000)
Edgaras Truskauskas’ biggest cash came in 2023 when he finished second in the €1,100 Coolbet Open 6-Handed event in Bratislava. He was often seen at the top of the chip counts during Day 2 and you’d better believe he’ll do everything in his power today to leave with the title.
Janis Markss (360,000)
Janis Markss Janis Markss and Sihvonen are the only two on the nine-handed final table not playing under the Lithuanian flag. The Latvian was involved in quite a few hands yesterday and he’s bringing a full register of tools to the table today.
Vladas Burneikis (278,000)
Vladas Burneikis Vladas Burneikis is one of the most experience players on the table. In fact, he was the first Lithuanian to win a WSOP Bracelet, as he emerged victorious in the $500 Turbo Deepstack-event during the pandemic year at GGPoker. Burneikis may enter the day with the second smallest stack, but there’s no doubt he possesses the skills to navigate his way through this final table.
Justinas Adomauskas (221,000)
Justinas Adomauskas Even though last in chips, Justinas Adomauskas enters the final table with 22 Big Blinds, which offers some playability. According to The Hendon Mob, his first cash came in 2023, and he’s looking for a record cash here at the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius.

Rokas Skridulis Secures Final Table Chip Lead After Day 2
Rokas Skridulis Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event has come to an end, and it was yet another fantastic day of poker during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius. The atmosphere at the Olympic Casino Lithuania is unparalleled, and today was no exception.
58 players had advanced from the various Day 1 flights, and with late registration open the first two hours today, the numbers of entires and the prize pool was set to grow. Let’s take a look at what went down today, and what lucky nine players secured a ticket for tomorrow’s final table.
A Star-packed Field
Let’s start the recap from Level 15. By then, late registration was over, and at this point, 54 players remained, all fighting for the biggest €40,060 slice out of the €177,650 prize pool. At this point, the same players who topped the chip counts entering Day 2 were still the biggest stacks.
The €2,200 High Roller champion, Rytis Pranarauskas, was one of the first notable bustouts as his A♠K♥ couldn’t beat the jacks of Sigitas Raila. Raila would continue to win some pots here and there, and at the conclusion of Level 16, he was fourth in the chip counts. Leading the field at this point was Rokas Skridulis, who had won a lot of chips in a crucial hand against Tobias Ten Napel.
Skridulis would also become the person to send the top 23 players in the money, as he eliminated Vladimiras Mečkovskis on the bubble. From there on, the “Post Bubble Bustout Bonanza” became a reality, and players were exiting the tournament left and right. Edgaras Baranauskas, who was the chip leader going into Day 2, was eliminated in position 19.
Rasmus Sihvonen Still in the mix, though, were the reigning champ Rasmus Sihvonen. He captured the €555 Main Event title during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker which was played in January this year, and he locked horns many times with Skridulis.
Soon enough, Gintautas Danilevičius eliminated Laurynas Černiauskas on the final table bubble, and the remaining nine players bagged their chips. Tomorrow’s final table should be entertaining, and there is not one, but two chances of a cool chapter being written in the Lithuanian poker history books. Sihvonen could win back-to-back Main Event titles at Olympic Casino Lithuania, or Aleksandras Rusinovas could follow up his €555 NLH Championship title with yet another tournament conquer.
Aleksandras Rusinovas The final table will start at 12:00 tomorrow (Saturday, May 24), and poker.pro will be live from the get-go with live updates. The seat draw and chip counts of the final table is as follows:
Seat Player Country Chips Big Blinds 1 Janis Markss
Latvia 360,000 36 2 Edgaras Truskauskas
Lithuania 728,000 73 3 Gintautas Danilevičius
Lithuania 764,000 76 4 Rokas Skridulis
Lithuania 908,000 91 5 Rasmus Sihvonen
Finland 751,000 75 6 Vladas Burneikis
Lithuania 278,000 28 7 Justinas Adomauskas
Lithuania 221,000 22 8 Sigitas Raila
Lithuania 824,000 82 9 Aleksandras Rusinovas
Lithuania 777,000 78 Presumably, the players will commence play at Level 20: 5,000/10,000 (10,000). It’s a fairly deep final table, and there’s no doubt we’ll see some thrilling poker action. Tomorrow at noon, things will go down!

Černiauskas made the call for his last 25,000; as Markss also would have been at risk if he called, he folded.
Laurynas Černiauskas: 4♥4♦
Gintautas Danilevičius: A♣A♥Aces were not cracked as the 9♥10♥8♣6♥A♦ board didn’t favour the pocket fours of Černiauskas. Such, he was eliminated in position 10 for €4,130, and the remaining nine players are now bagging their chips. The will return to the final table tomorrow at 12:00.

Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event is one hour away. 59 players are currently registered for the tournament, with the majority of them coming from any of the three Day 1 flights. Late registration is open for two more 60-minute levels; it’s very likely we’ll see the current €59,000 prize pool increase by a couple more grand.
The players will commence at Level 13; Blinds 1,000/2,000, and a 2,000 Ante. Leading the field is Edgaras Baranauskas with 251,500.
The poker.pro live coverage will start with cards in the air at 12:00. We’ll follow all the action until the end of day; nine 60-minute levels will be played today, before the survivors bag their chips for the final day tomorrow.

Baranauskas Secures Chiplead after Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event
Edgaras Baranauskas It’s been yet another joyful day here at the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius, and the atmosphere is buzzing. While there’s still some action going on at the Olympic Casino Lithuania, Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event has concluded after roughly nine hours of play.
24 players moved on from 73 entries, and €24,000 was contributed to the prize pool. These competitors will join the 24 who bagged from Day 1a, as well as those who emerge from Day 1c, which is played at this current moment.
Baranauskas on Top of the Rankings
Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event attracted a star-spangled field; perhaps thanks to the €555 NLH Championship finishing yesterday instead of the final table being played today, like originally was planned. Players such as Rasmus Sihvonen (reigning champion), Vygerdas Jonikas (runner-up in January), Aleksandras Rusinovas (winner of the €555 NLH Championship), and Drea Karlsen (popular poker streamer), were all apparent in the tournament, trying to bag a stack close to the 200,000 that Mindaugas Kriaučiūnas secured from Day 1a.
All of the players mentioned above did move on, with Karlsen leading the pack of four with her 125,000 stack. In total, she’s third in the chip counts from Day 1b; she’s trailing only Laurynas Černiauskas (242,000), and the current chip leader Edgaras Baranauskas (251,500).
One of Baranauskas’ key pots came when he hit a flush on the river, after being all in on the turn against Roope Keminen. From there on, he was always a top 3-stack, and he has earned himself great presumptions for a deeprun in tomorrow’s Day 2 flight.
Not until Day 1c has concluded will we know how many players move on from the various Day 1 flights. It should be mentioned, however, that players can buy in during the first two 60-minute levels of Day 2. In other words, late registration will be open until approximately 14:20 tomorrow, May 23.
The poker.pro team will be on-site tomorrow and follow the action from Day 2, all the way until the conclusion of Level 21. Most importantly, we’ll return in the morning with full chip counts and seat draw.

Radionovas was the one to fire 2,000 on the A♥J♥2♥ flop. Harzejevs and Baranauskas both made the call, and the 9♦ revealed itself on the turn.
Radionovas continued with 2,ooo, and Harzejevs made the call. Then, Baranauskas raised to 10,000. Radionovas called fairly quickly, and Harzejevs folded after sharing a look of confusion with the rest of the table.
The river was the K♥. Radionovas wasn’t intimidated by Baranauskas’ earlier raise, and he led out for 5,500. Baranauskas made the call.
Linas Radionovas: A♠9♣
Edgaras Baranauskas: A♣J♦Baranauskas was very pleased to see Radionovas didn’t have a flush, and with this pot, Baranauskas extends his chip lead further.

Laiho Gets the Job Done
Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500) Entries: 28/73 Prizes: TBA Tobias Ten Napel opened to 3,000 from UTG+1. Bahadir Hatipoglu (Cut-off) and Petteri Laiho (Small Blind) both made the call.
The dealer revealed a 8♠10♣7♣ flop. Laiho kicked things off with a check, Ten Napel continued for 4,000, and both his opponents called.
Action was checked around on the A♦ turn. The river was the 5♠, and Laiho now led out for 9,000. Ten Napel called before Hatipoglu folded.
Laiho turned over A♠Q♣, which appeared to be the winning hand, as Ten Napel’s cards hit the muck.
Petteri Laiho: 103,000
Tobias Ten Napel: 58,000 -
Day 1c is Underway
While we’ll continue to focus on Day 1b of the €1,100 Main Event, it should be mentioned that the last starting flight – Day 1c – started roughly one hour ago. 14 players are currently in, and the levels are 25 minutes long in this turbo flight. They too will play 12 levels until it’s bag n’ tag.

Karlsen Stands Strong Under Pressure
Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500) Entries: 33/73 Prizes: TBA From the Cut-off, Drea Karlsen opened to 3,000. Vadims Milovs called from the Big Blind, and the two of them were the only ones to the flop.
First to act, Milovs checked on 8♣5♠5♥, and Karlsen continued for 2,000. Curve ball as Milovs raised to 7,000; Karlsen wasn’t scared, though, and called fairly quickly.
The turn was the J♦. Milovs continued on the aggressive path and now bet 10,500. Again, Karlsen didn’t waste any time putting in the chips for a call.
Both players checked the A♣ river.
Vadims Milovs: 7♠6♠

Muraška Finds Aces Before Break
Tomas Muraška Level 10: 600/1,200 (1,200) Entries: 33/73 Prizes: TBA Vygerdas Jonikas opened to 2,500 from UTG. Tomas Muraška raised to 7,500 from the Button. Bahadir Hatipoglu called without hesitation from the Big Blind, and after some consideration, Jonikas threw in the chips for a call as well.
The flop came 6♥9♣8♣. Hatipoglu and Jonikas both checked, prior to Muraška continuing for 8,000. Hatipoglu got out of the way, while Jonikas decided to make the call.
Jonikas checked again on the Q♣ turn, and now, Muraška fired 13,000. After perhaps two minute’s worth of consideration – and aLithuanian exchange of words between them two – Jonikas made the call.
The river fell 7♣. Jonikas completed the check trifecta, and Muraška bet 43,500; more than half of what Jonikas had left. Jonikas folded within ten seconds. As he collected the pot, Muraška revealed his A♠A♣ holdings.

Being first to act, Rusinovas checked the J♦K♠8♠ flop. Assersen continued for 5,000, Corns made the call, and Rusinovas folded.
Assersen slowed down on the 10♣ turn and checked. Corns then bet 7,500, an amount that Assersen decided to call.
The river was the 3♠. Assersen bet 13,000, Corns forced his opponent all in for 24,500 in total, and Assersen called as fast as humanly possible.
Bruno Corns: A♥Q♣
Vidar Assersen: Q♠10♠Straight versus flush, and Assersen was on the good end of things. He received a full double-up, as he put a big dent in Corns’ stack.
Vidar Assersen: 80,000

Vygerdas Jonikas Level 6: 200/500 (500) Entries: 54/64 Prizes: TBA Vygerdas Jonikas has been a solid live player for years, and in January this year, he finished second in the €555 Main Event during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker .

Action folded back to Jonikas who would have none of it; he put in a raise to 12,400, enough to scare both of his opponents away.
As the dealer pushed the chips Jonikas’ way, he flashed his hole cards for the table to see, but apparently, this reporter needs glasses.

Laiho turned over A♠Q♣, which appeared to be the winning hand, as Ten Napel’s cards hit the muck.
Petteri Laiho: 103,000
Tobias Ten Napel: 58,000 -

The turn was the J♦. Milovs continued on the aggressive path and now bet 10,500. Again, Karlsen didn’t waste any time putting in the chips for a call.
Both players checked the A♣ river.

Rasmus Sihvonen Level 6: 200/500 (500) Entries: 52/67 Prizes: TBA Rasmus Sihvonen won the €555 Main Event during the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker in January, and now, the Finn is back at Lithuanian soil to defend his title.
Action was folded to Sihvonen, who made it 1,200 from the Hi-jack. Stanislovas Viničenka called from the Cut-off before the only woman currently in the tournament, Drea Karlsen, raised to 4,500. Back to Sihvonen, who wasted little to no time 4-betting to 11,000. Viničenka quickly went out of the day, whilst Karlsen made the call.
Sihvonen continued for 6,000 on the 2♠K♥7♣ flop, and Karlsen made the call. When the 2♦ fell on the river, Sihvonen announced he was all in for 19,000. Karlsen folded rather quickly, and Sihvonen won a decent pot considering the hand never went to showdown.

As the dealer pushed the chips Jonikas’ way, he flashed his hole cards for the table to see, but apparently, this reporter needs glasses.

Action was checked to Tammel on the 10♠9♣5♠ flop, who bet 2,600. Rusinovas was the only one who folded to the bet.
All players checked the A♣ turn. The river then fell 3♣, it was checked to Brazauskas, who bet 6,000. Tammel decided to call, whilst everyone else got out of the way

Lithuania 777,000 78 Presumably, the players will commence play at Level 20: 5,000/10,000 (10,000). It’s a fairly deep final table, and there’s no doubt we’ll see some thrilling poker action. Tomorrow at noon, things will go down!

Laurynas Černiauskas Level 20: 5,000/10,000 (10,000) Entries: 9/187 Prizes: €177,650 Laurynas Černiauskas opened to 100,000 from the Cut-off, leaving just 25,000 behind. From the Button, Janis Markss raised to 200,000. Little did he know that Gintautas Danilevičius would 4-bet all in for 500,000.
We will soon be back with the final table seat draw, chip counts, and a recap from today’s action.

In a Blind vs. Blind encounter against each other, Sihvonen limped, and Skridulis checked. Sihvonen then bet 8,000 on the K♦5♣10♥ flop, a bet that Skridulis called.
Sihvonen continued on the 8♣ and now sized up to 30,000. Once again, Skridulis made the call. The river was the A♠ and after a minute’s worth of consideration, Sihvonen bet another 30,000. Skridulis called.
Sihvonen turned over Q♦J♣ for the rivered straight, and Skridulis mucked his hand.

Markss completed the check trifecta on the 8♠ river. Now, Rusinovas decided to go all in for 135,000. Markss went into the tank for roughly two minutes before calling.
Aleksandras Rusinovas: J♦10♣

Lithuania 764,000 76 4 Rokas Skridulis
