The dates are locked in, the location is no surprise, and now the countdown begins. The fourth-annual WPT World Championship Festival will take over the Encore side of Wynn Las Vegas from December 2–22, 2025. Just like previous years, the schedule will mix marquee Main Tour and WPT Prime events, high-rollers, specialty tournaments, and plenty of satellites—but this time, players already know the key dates worth circling.
Main Event & Prime Championship
The $10,400 WPT World Championship runs December 13–19, starting with three opening flights (Dec 13–15). Survivors meet on Dec 16 for Day 2, with action building to a Day 3 conclusion on Dec 19. After a one-day break, the televised final table plays out on Dec 21.
Lower-buy-in grinders won’t be left out—the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship runs December 7–12. Organizers have confirmed there’s no million-dollar guarantee for the Main Event this year, but if history is any indication, the prize pool will still be massive.
Scott Stewart Bests the Rest in the 2024 World Championship

Last year proved the Wynn stage can make dreams happen. Scott Stewart navigated a record field of 2,392 entries to win $2,563,900 and join the WPT Champions Club. Rob Sherwood finished runner-up for $2,200,000, with Edward Pak in third for $2,000,000. The rest of the final table—Chris Moorman, Ryan Yu, and Christian Roberts—took home six-figure scores, contributing to a staggering $23,441,600 prize pool built without a guarantee.
