  • Three-Way Chop Ends Fight or Flight

It was a fairly small turnout for the Fight or Flight game on Saturday night. The innovative format mixed Survivor-style tournaments with Landmark satellite structure.

In the end, they only got 15 entries for this one, leaving them with two official pay spots. When they got down to the final three, they agreed to an ICM chop of the prizes based on stack size.

    1 Neymar Junior$1,715
    2 Josh Myers$1,680
    3 Louis Collette$879

Due to the nature of the event, I didn’t get any winner’s photos.

  • 10 Entries Early for Fight or Flight

    Level:2 (100/200/200)
    Entries:10/10
    Prizes:$2,850

It’s a bit of a slow start for this Fight or Flight game, with 10 players in their seats for the start of Level 2. The format of this game may well keep the field small throughout the night.

  • Event #6: $340 Fight or Flight ($300 + $40)

    Event 6:$340 Fight or Flight ($300 + $40)
    Date:Apr 5, 6 PM
    Blinds:20 Minutes
    Starting Stack:20k
    Late Entry:10 Levels (~9:50 PM)
    Day 1 Ends:One-Day Event

The Fight or Flight game runs on Saturday evening, and it’s a somewhat new format for the series. Players will be somewhat familiar with some aspects of the game as it mirrors a Landmark Satellite game, but instead of awarding tickets, equal cash prizes are awarded.

Players can take their money and run if they build a stack of 200k during the evening. Equally, as they play down through the field, a few prizes will still be left over for the survivors.

The action starts at 6 pm tonight. Players get a 20k start stack to play 20-minute blinds throughout the night. Entries are open for 10 levels, putting the final cutoff at about 9:50 PM.

I likely won’t be watching this one very closely as I’ll be focused on Day 1c of Event #3. I also need to be back on the floor for noon on Sunday for Day 2, so I don’t want to be on the floor very late tonight. As a result, this game may not get any coverage until tomorrow with the final payouts.
