2026 Pure Poker Tour Series #4 – Event #11: $560 PLO PKO

Ross Wilson was running pure for heads up tonight. They started about even, and stayed even for the first 15-20 minutes of two way play. While there weren’t many big showdowns, Wilson consistently took small pots through the endgame to chip up.

When the final hand came, Wilson was on more than 1 million of the 1.3 million in play, and it all went in on the turn. Wilson limped the button, then called with Sebastian Crema made it 45k. Crema made it 70k on the 10♥4♣8♠ flop and WIlson called, with Crema potting the 5♦ turn, then calling when Wilson repotted over top.

Crema was on jacks with king queen, but Wilson’s queens with seven-six was ahead, and the river didn’t change anything. Crema picked up second place tonight after winning the Deepstack Hyper last night, so he’s having a pretty good couple of days. For his part, this was Wilson’s first cash of the series, and he an extra $4,245 in bounties for his work tonight.

Final Results for PLO PKO

Place	Player	Prize
1	Ross Wilson	$3,800
2	Sebastian Crema	$3,800
3	Colten Yamagishi	$2,200
4	Bill Thomson	$1,500
5	Sean Ebbesen	$1,075

Ross Wilson has taken the lead with just shy of 1 million, out of 1.35m in play. There haven’t been any big showdowns, but Wilson is taking a lot of the small pots lately.

Ross Wilson & Sebastian Crema are pretty much dead even at the moment, battling heads up. They’ve been at it for about 25 minutes since Yamagishi’s bust, with mostly small pots trading back and forth. Neither player has managed to grab much of a lead yet.

Ross Wilson made it 20k from the button, then shoved when Colten Yamagishi made it 65k from the big blind. Yamagishi called it off with less, and it was a cooler between A♥K♥K♠J♠ against A♠A♦Q♥6♥.

It was a bit of a repeat of a previous hand where Yamagishi’s kings cracked the aces of Wilson, but in this case, the aces held on 4♠4♥8♠6♦J♦, though Yamagishi threatened a double with the flopped spade draw. He picked up $850 in bounties tonight to go with his $2,200 in prizes.

Most of the damage to Bill Thomson’s stack happened in a hand against Colten Yamagishi blind on blind. Yamagishi made it 24k, and Thomason called.

On the 2♦J♥8♠ flop, Yamagishi bet 51k, then called when Thomson shoved a bit more. Yamagishi was on A♥K♦J♦10♠ against K♣10♥10♦9♣ for Thomson. The 5♣3♣ runout didn’t change anything, leaving Yamagishi’s jack in front.

That left Thomson nearly felted, and he was all in on the next hand, with Ross Wilson collecting his bounty with a set of aces.

Chips for Final Three

Sean Ebbesen was the first player out in the money today. I missed the action while getting the prize pool for Event 12 sorted out, but Sebastian Crema was stacking his chips after the hand. It looks like Ross Wilson is still in the lead, with Crema about 50k behind, but I’ll get full chips counts for whoever is left at the break coming in about 15 minutes.

Sebastian Crema, who is battling Ross Wilson for the chip lead right now, made it 20k early before Colten Yamagishi went all in for 32k. Bill Thomson called from the big blind, as did Crema.

Thomson checked the K♥J♦9♥ flop, then mucked after Crema potted. That left Yamagishi in for his life with A♦10♦10♠8♥ against Crema’s A♥K♠Q♣2♦. The board ran out 7♥5♦ and Yamagishi hit a straight to hold for the triple up.

This is Yamagishi’s 5th cash of the series, putting him two ahead of anyone else in total cashes, and the points he earns should boost him up the PoS rankings as well.

The PLO PKO is in the money now, after Tony Ma was the stone bubble in 6th place tonight. All remaining players are guaranteed at least $1,075 for 5th place.

Jarret Gray just busted the final table, two off the money, leaving the PLO PKO on the stone bubble now, with five paid and six remaining. Level 14 is just underway, so it seems like a good bet that they’ll be in the money well before the next break after Level 16.

Dennis Cleaver was the short stack when I counted at the break, and he ended his day in 8th place shortly after they returned for Level 13.

Mike Malm busted the final table in ninth before the break. Below is a look at all the final table faces, plus chips for the final eight players.

The PLO Big Bounty game is 5 off the money now, with 10 players remaining. They’ll set the final table after the next elimination, but there will still be four to go to the money once they get to one table.

Level 10 is about to begin, and the field is confirmed at 45 entries. That means 5 players will get a share of $12,375 in payouts, with an addition $9k total to win in bounties.

Entries are closed, and the final number on the board is 45 entries. If that holds, 5 players will get a share of $12,375 in payouts, with an additional $9k in bounties in the field today. I’ll confirm the numbers when the prizes are posted shortly.

About 5 minutes remain in Level 8, with the dinner break to follow. When they return from dinner for Level 9, entries will be closed on this game.

With 45 entries at the moment, the prizes are more than $21k combined, with $12,375 of that in the payouts pool and the rest in bounties. I still expect a few more entries over the dinner break, with the final field settling in around 50 entries.

Level 8 has just begun, and the field is at 43 entries. Just under an hour remains in entry now, with the desk closing after the dinner break following this level. With 43 entries currently, there is $11,825 in the payouts pool, with an additional $8,600 in bounty cash out there.

The combined prizes are nearing $20k, with 39 entries now on the board. About 20 minutes remain in Level 6, with two more levels of open-entry poker to follow before the dinner break, and the end of entries after dinner. It’s looking like this game will get between 40 & 50 entries, but it could go a bit bigger than 50.

The first break of the day is coming fast, and the field is now over 30 entries for combined prizes just shy of $15k. Richie Tran, who was the runner-up in the Double Board earlier in the week, Sindijs Anspoks, who won Event #4, and Leo Zhang are all among the newer faces I spotted in the field today.

The combined prizes are nearing $12k now, with 24 entries on the board. About 20 minutes remain in Level 4, with the first break of the day scheduled after this level. After that, they’ll return for four more levels of poker with the entries still open.

Mike Malm & Tony Ma were the most recent entries into the game.

The combined prizes are now over $8k with 18 entries on the board and about 10 minutes to play in Level 3. Among the players in action today are Ross Wilson, PoS leader Nu Teliani, Karin Schulenburg, Bill Thomson, Larry Chernenkoff, Benny Sarnelli, Anderson Frank-Graham, Rob Limpert, and defending champ Sebastian Crema.

The PLO PKO is small so far, with 11 entries on the board, and 10 players in their seats. About 15 minutes remain in Level 2, with entries open until the start of Level 9, which should be about 5:45 PM if the game had started on time, but since it began a few minutes late, expect entries to remain open a bit later than expected.

The PKO game got off to a bit of a late start today. Level 1 is underway with 7 players in their seats, and entries open until about 5:45 PM this afternoon.

Michael Bingham just hit the rail for fourth place when his ace-jack couldn’t cap king-seven for Kevin Noble when he flopped a king and held.
