Entries for Day 1a of the Main Event are now closed, with the final tally at 106. That puts the 1a prizes over $135k, with 11 bags expected at the end of the night.

The field is at 30 remaining now, so they need to lose 19 players before an early end. However, this Main Event plays a bit differently than the previous multi-flight games – the bags will come out at the end of Level 15, even if they haven’t hit 10% of the field. Players should note that Day 2 will likely include some players returning outside the money.
