poker.pro is free to read. Like most poker media, we fund our reporting partly through affiliate partnerships with the poker rooms and sportsbooks we review. This page explains what that means and what it doesn’t.
How affiliate links work
Some links on poker.pro are affiliate links, most often the Play Now buttons, sign-up links and bonus codes on our reviews and listings. If you follow one of these links, open an account and play, the operator may pay us a commission.
Some of these links go through a poker.pro address (poker.pro/go/…) first. That sends you to the right version of the site for your country, because operators often run separate sites and offers per market.
What it means for you
- It costs you nothing. You never pay more because you came from poker.pro. Some offers we list are exclusive and better than the standard sign-up deal.
- The operator’s terms apply. Bonuses are run by the operator, not by us. Always read the full terms before you deposit.
- You can always go direct. You don’t have to use our links to sign up anywhere.
What it doesn't change
Our editorial team decides which sites we list and in what order, using the criteria in our editorial policy. A commercial deal never buys a higher spot, a better review or favourable news coverage, and we cover the drawbacks of the sites we work with just as we do for any other. We also list sites we earn nothing from when they are worth your time.
Other ways we earn money
- Media partnerships. We work with tours, festivals and venues as an official media partner. When we report on an event in that role, the coverage says so.
- Advertising. Banners and promotions from operators are ads, and they are kept separate from our articles.

Age and location
Real-money poker and betting are for adults aged 18 or over, or the legal age where you live if that is higher. Online gambling laws differ from country to country, so check that playing is legal where you are. We only show offers available in your country.
