Zhizhi Peng opened to 22,000 UTG. Action then folded to fairly short-stacked “Mr. X,” who made it 70,000, leaving himself with a mere 1,000 behind. Peng forced her opponent all-in for the rest of it, and “Mr. X” made the call with his tournament life on the line.

“Mr. X” was in good shape to double up, but that would not be the case. “Yes! Friendly game!” Peng laughed, as the board spelled out K9672. The two players split the pot, and “Mr. X” was now up to 81,000. On the very next hand, action folded to him on the Button, and he committed 50,000 to a pre-flop raise. Within seconds, Baptiste Auger re-raised to 205,000. When action came back to “Mr. X,” he sighed, then folded.

Baptiste Auger: 460,000
Zhizhi Peng: 120,000
“Mr. X”: 31,000
