Evan Thomas might be writing the story of a lifetime. He’s currently chipped up 100x in the last couple of hands, and no, that isn’t a typo. He was nearly felted Andrew Liesemer’s tens held against his ace0five offsuit.
That left him with literally one 1k chip remaining. He was all in the next hand, and flopped two pair with queen-ten against king-queen suited for Oleh Yakovliev. That gave him 23k, and the next hand, he was all in against with pocket threes.
Nicholas Peterson came ove the top with a bigger shove, and Leo Brouwer reshoved again with more to set up a side pot. Thomas had the threes, against sixes for Peterson, and A♥8♥ for Brouwer.
Brouwer found his eight on the flop, while Thomas found a three, and when the 8♠3♠10♣J♥9♥ was done, Thomas was up to 119k, while Brouwer took the side pot as Peterson hit the cage.
Meanwhile, Gurdeep Parhar also busted, setting up the final two tables with 18 left, 5 off the bags.
