Sunday is a big day at the 2026 World Series of Poker Circuit Calgary, with Day 2 of the Main Event & Day 1 of the High Roller, as well as the only Freezeout game of the series. Event 16 kicks off at 11 AM on Sunday, and unlike all the other events, players are limited to just a single buy-in with no rebuys allowed.
Blinds are 30 minutes throughout the game, and players have 10 levels to buy a 25k stack. That should mean the last chance to get a stack is about 3:40 PM. Note that there is no break following Level 10. The one-day event will award a ring before the end of the day.
In January of this year, Romualdo Cusano was the Freezeout King, making it through 430 entries for the biggest share of $180,600 in prizes. Last October, the 278-entry field was topped by David Katzov for the top prize from $116,760 in total prizes.
