The opening day of High Roller action gets going at 2 PM on Sunday, alongside Day 2 of the Main Event, as well as the $500 Freezeout game. This game will likely see a lot of traffic to the entry desk from the other two events playing on Sunday as players bust from those games.
The High Rollers get the biggest starting stack of the series, with 50k in chips, and blinds are 40 minutes throughout the game. Players have 12 levels to buy in on Day 1, with the desk set to close at about 11 PM. After that, they play about 2 more hours on Day 1, with the opening day scheduled to finish at the end of Level 15 about 1 AM. Remaining players will then return for Day 2 action on Monday at 1 PM.
This past January, Aaron La found the High Roller ring after getting through a field of 205 entries for the top prize of $641,650 in total prizes. Oct 2025 saw Andy Truong win his first ring in the High Roller, making it through 140 entries for the best share of $438,200 in total prizes.
