The Ladies game finished in just over 10 hours tonight, and Ottawa resident Jaryn Gemmill took down the Ladies Ring. She had the chip lead for much of the endgame and carried a big lead into heads-up against Jo Teliani.
The only showdown during heads-up was the final hand. Gemmill raised to 95k, then tank-called when Jo Teliani shoved a couple of hundred thousand. Teliani was ahead with K♠10♣ against 7♥3♥ for Gemmill. She found a trey on the flop, but Teliani was still drawing live to two overcards. The 3♣4♦9♣8♥6♦ board ran out clean for Gemmill’s flopped three, and she had her 3rd live win and her first Circuit Ring.
