Yordan Yordanov has become the first player to depart from the final table. He moved all-in under-the-gun for his last 1.3m and was called by big stack Serhii Lubyk.
Having taken out Lubyk, Serhii then luckboxed the largest remaining mystery bounty of £2,000
Yordan had pocket kings, while Lubyk made the call with A♠8♠. But the first card that peeled off the deck on the flop was the A♣ and that was that for Yordan. He exited in 9th place for £1,190.
Soon afterwards the field was reduced to seven when Leigh Gillson suffered the same fate, having his pocket kings cracked by Vaidas Vitkausk’s Ace-King. Leigh departed in 8th, taking £1,450.
