Poker icon David Lappin approached the poker.pro live reporter and shared a hand he played against James McAulay.
Seated on the Button, Lappin opened to 33,000, and McAulay defended his Big Blind. McAulay then check-called a 24,000 bet from Lappin on the J♥10♠5♣ flop, which brought the J♣ turn. Action went check-check, and then, McAulay bet 65,000 on the J♦ river. Lappin eventually made the call.
James McAulay: 9♥8♠
David Lappin: Q♣9♦
Quite the impressive call with queen high from Lappin, who currently has a good stack.
David Lappin: 850,000
James McAulay: 195,000
