Most of the damage to Mike Aloneissi’s stack happened when he raised the button to 125k, then called off a shove from Riol Sherifi. Aloneissi had the most chips, but when Sherifi found a seven with ace-seven to crack Aloneissi’s fives, he was left with under 100k.
That went in blind on the next hand, but he woke up in good shape after Jarret Gray called him off with queen-three suited against ace-ten. Gray found his queen on the flop, however, and Aloneissi couldn’t catch up to end his night in 3rd place.
