It was a pretty even match to start heads up, but one hand essentially ended it. The money went in with the stacks just 40k apart, with Nicholas Peterson on pocket sixes against Dan Luczyk’s ace-ten. Peterson had the marginal lead in chips and the hand, and held for the huge double up.
That left Luczyk all in from the big blind in the next hand, where his ace-queen couldn’t hold against the ten-four for Peterson when a four flopped and the rest of the board bricked.
