The Saturday night side game is the $340 NLH. Action gets going at 6 PM, and players start with 25k in chips.
Blinds are 20 minutes long throughout the game (15 minutes heads up), and players can enter or rebuy for the first 9 levels of play. That will mean the entry desk closes at about 9:30 PM. After that, it’ll be a run to the trophy before the game ends.
Back in May, it was Jeff Clarke who took down this game after a crazy heads-up. The final three players cut a deal with Jody Fayant in the lead, giving him the most money. Clarke then sent Duke Saddleback out in 3rd before a huge hand that looked like it gave Fayant the win. Instead, Clarke had him slightly outchipped and came back with fumes to a very unlikely series of doubles to take it down. The game saw 60 entries in May, for just over $17k in prizes.
