The field is down to 12 on the break following Level 22. Todd Oakley is the leader with more than 2 million, while Ryan Comely is second with almost 1.9 million.
Ramaz Haymour was the most recent bust from the Main Event. After George Broumas raised early to 55k, Haymour shoved his final 65k from the button. Nu Teliani called from the small blind, as did Broumas. Teliani & Broumas checked it down through the board of 6♠Q♠3♣6♦7♠. Teliani showed jack-three for the flopped treys, Broumas mucked, and Haymour’s ace-nine wasn’t good enough to survive.
That should put the Player of the Series race to bed, as that won’t be enough to get him ahead of Ross Wilson, who is still playing in the Last Chance. Haymour said he had to drive home this afternoon, so I don’t think he’ll be taking a shot in the final event.
