With London gripped by a heatwave, along with World Cup and Wimbledon fever, the temperature is sure to rise further at Genting Casino Stratford today, June 9, as 14 players return at 4 p.m. local time for the final day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) Mini Main Event.
The last players left standing are led by PartyPoker Tour Team member Sam Acheampong (4,980,000), with PartyPoker Ambassador Jaime Staples (2,600,000) at the front of the chasing pack, along with Thomas Scott (3,170,000) and Ayush Gandhi (2,785,000), after two days of play whittled down the field of 697 entries.
Acheampong is looking to add to an impressive 18 recorded live victories, while Staples has recorded three wins, including lifting the trophy in the £150 NLH event in Sheffield at the PartyPoker Tour stop in February.

Gandhi is also in good form, with all but one of his 35 recorded cashes taking place in the last two years. He will be hoping to run better than his fourth place finish in the £200 NLH event in Sheffield, while players such as Ben Skinner (830,000) and Baptiste Auger (1,220,000) will be hoping to spin up relative short-stacks early. The players will have their eyes firmly set on the chunky £16,000 top prize, representing the lion’s share of the £87,125 prize pool, comfortably in excess of the £50,000 guarantee.
