With his elimination of Sergi Kapanadze, Petter Berg is now crowned the winner of Event #7: €550 Main Event during the 2026 Coolbet Open. Not only does he take home the trophy and the €65,415 first-place prize, but also the title; he’s forever etched his name into eternal poker history.
What a tournament this has been. A total of 753 entries translated to a €357,675 prize pool, making it the biggest-ever Coolbet Open Main Event. Prominent players such as Johan Storåkers, Ranno Sootla, Scotty Nguyen, Vladimir “Gambledore” Korzinin, and Mario Colavita were all attracted by the prestige of the event. In the end, though, victory belonged to Berg. He has conquered one of the most popular live poker festivals on North European soil, and he’s going to be remembered forever.
