Limpert was a steady force throughout the day entering the final table second in chips (469,000). Zhu was on fumes, sitting under 10 big blinds before finding back to back doubles to keep his tournament hopes alive. Michael “Berny” Bernstein could not outlast the bubble, falling to Teliani’s king-high flush.
Shortly after, Teliani got it in on the turn with two pair against Zhu’s nut flush draw. The river completed the flush to bring play three-handed. Frank-Graham would fall soon after calling Limpert’s jam with A♥Q♣10♥9♠. Limpert’s K♦K♥9♥7♥ flopped quads leaving Frank-Graham drawing dead.
