Raj Sabanathan is riding a bit of a rollercoaster today as he’s just managed to double again up to more than a million. Not long ago, he was on fumes with barely 100k in front of him, but then he grabbed a couple of doubles to get up to ~600k.
He just three-bet shoved over a limp from Leonardo Aiella and a raised to 75k from Michale Baldwin. Aiella got out of the way, but Baldwin snap-called with pocket kings.
Sabanathan was in trouble, and said he was clearly hoping for folds. He had Q♦9♦ but the runout of J♣9♥A♦Q♠6♥ double-paired him on the turn to crack the kings and get a double. He’s now up to more than a million while Baldwin is still playing about 1.5 million.
